They explained everything in the movie. they were doing experimental testing down there. the toxin or whatever got loose. the toxin bonded all living elements together making those creatures, trees etc. even after all those years it was still toxic down there. they sent a crew down there to do more experiments or take readings in the 2000's hence the newer computer equipment but they turned also i believe.
the killer chased her friend over to her house. maybe he was after her and then saw maddie so he went after her also
she totally could of ran into the woods when she tried to find the phone off her friend.

I think they mentioned they had another enemy out there so they were converting the humans to be their soldiers of war.

maybe Julie asked to kiss Fatima because I don't recall seeing many or any teenage boys. Take what you can get.. Also later on she seemed to vibe good with Elgin and Randall. Or maybe Julie mistook Fatima's kindness towards her in more than a friend.
yeah some of it might have been brought by arrivals... otherwise they grow veggies, fruits and have some farm animals they found in the woods. so then there is milk, eggs, meat, they can fish, forge berries etc..
I thought those bleep outs were so funny. Sometimes they came out of nowhere esp from Amy. I loved them.
true but she is royalty.. Someone should be making a statement to address this conspiracies.. Or she should make a brief appearance or something. When you are a celebrity or royalty... it comes with the territory. They don't to say exact details but something should be said. They talk and scandalize everything else..
