Interesting question , maybe it's to do with high levels of oxygen, the blood is dormant until it's exposed to oxygen and that changes it's bloods chemical composition, as we don't know if it has lungs and breathes like most lifeforms we know of, butterfly's for example do not have lungs.
So possibly it takes and needs a small amounts of oxygen like the butterfly not via lungs and takes in a small controlled amount and oxygen over a certain level is when it turns from a stable fluid to toxic.
I lost all hope when the crew were being introduced and one guys says something along the lines of "I want nothing to do with any of you"
Seriously who thought the none player for such an important mission was a good choice.
If you mean just Christianity I've got no idea or any of the other main religions , something I find interesting is that even Charles Darwin belived in a greater power just not one singular faith or mainstream faith. He was active in his local parish church but wouldn't worship there, I guess he wanted to help his local community and that was a way of doing it. Anyway I guess like him a lot of scientists believe in god just not one worshipped on a mass scale.

The hole whispers thing was not only stupid beyond unbelievable but boring and gross. That's when my wife and I stopped watching.
Think the thing that really bugged me was the years of peace those communities had and they had not prepared basic defences for a heard in all that time. Not one basic trench system that hundreds of walkers could falling to and then finish of at your own pace. Hell not even a simple hole. Who ever was in charge of planning was rubbish.

I'm afraid Eddie cannot win and his creativity maybe held back by the modern era, or with a bit of luck Eddie will just tell everyone including us to kiss his ass and he will do what he's best at and that's his own thing.
Got to agree, my wife and I tried to like it and it's not a bad film it's visually pleasing the music great voice acting fine just guess it's one of those films some love and some just think it's ok.
