Admittedly I'm not too wild and crazy about the movie, and it's Vic Morrow segment continues to this day to leave a bad taste, but I loved the score, opening with Albert Brooks and Aykroid, the colorful theatrics of Dante's madhouse taking It's a Good Life into gonzo territory, and Miller just throws the subtlety out the window with in-your-face direction. Lithgow certainly went the no-restraint route, giving quite a full-bore performance. I think there was one year they did. The times were off but it was a breath of fresh air. A couple years ago, during New Year's Eve and Day, SYFY ran the complete series in order. I do the aloneness during the year and revel in the community activity the holiday marathon brings those two times a year. 🚀 I read that the radio story ended that way. I believe there was even more morbid conclusion to Night Call as well. More or less as background while spending time here chatting about the episodes selected for the marathon. I have the series on DVD so I rewatch them uncut during the year. I honestly feel Syfy hasn't for a long time given much thought to what its commercial intrusions do to the effectiveness of TZ . I think they just hope to capitalize on those who only watch just essentially TZ on the channel, looking to perhaps gain an audience for the content they truly care about...their own You are so right. That is essential. I'm surprised it was left out. Well maybe not, it is Syfy we're talking about. And they included some episodes this year that could have been discarded in favor of Midnight Sun and The Masks. "PUSH! PUSH! PUSH!" I think there will be an investigation and his crimes will be discovered. How he'll be able to hide his murderous misdeeds seems unlikely. I think he'll pay for what he did. Yeah Ugh, the struggle was real. Balsam is really good. He's kept me from going to bed. I have work this morning so it is a questionable decision. Considering I have the DVD set... Yep Certainly is. But, ugh, Syfy cut a commercial right in the heart of the conclusion Exactly. It just wasn't necessary. It just left a bad taste. I just like how they played that, too. His depleted state both physically and mentally True, but I think TZ does occasionally reward characters that chance. It does have it's problems but I do think it got it's message across. Still a relevant one in fact. I think the Twilight Zone allowed him to return. He's in his current misanthropic state due to life's disappointments Haha! The universe certainly has a cruel sense of humor! One might say that he might have done himself a disservice not using the gun!
