He didn't fully trust the cops. He recognized Harry as the cop he met at the beginning, he doesn't want them to know he's home alone, and he did steal the toothbrush and flee a cop.
Kevin pointed out the big kids got to but he didn't and the way Kate replied implied Frank was watching something very adult and if Frank said no, it's as much an admission that it's porn.
This is a case of flip the genders around and the reaction would be the opposite. If a man courted a woman still living at home, nobody would have cared.
He stopped because he nearly got caught and would eventually slip up since law enforcement was coordinating against him. He only got away with it as long as he did because of killing in different jurisdictions.
Boy how things have changed since this film.
She's barely in Longlegs or Twisters though.
A teen very emotionally involved. Besides, there was no affair, they were all being manipulated.
And what happened to his psychic powers? Yeah, he's still able to control cyberspace and be a master hacker, but he seems to be about as smart as everyone else.
That's why the original version has an extra scene of Laurie attacking Alex when they reach the dock. She explains she lied about being the truth teller, rendering the riddle null.
It looks flashier if she's free and out of the tank in a flash. Of course the audience can figure out she got out of the rope and the tank, but the point is showmanship.
You needed all 7 or the antichrist can reincarnate again according to the novels anyway. There were plans to do at least a film version of the fourth novel, but it was shelved. Using only one dagger was done in part 3 to leave it open.
They didn't have a specific medical officer. Dallas was captain, Kane executive officer, Ripley warrant officer, Ash science officer, Lamber navigational officer, and Parker and Brett were engineers.
It was more kid friendly without being quite so goofy as Batman and Robin. Then there was the casting; Jim Carrey was a big selling point in the 90s.
The novels honestly feel like a more complete story even though the fifth one is just kind of tacked on since Damien Thorn II is stabbed with all seven daggers in book 4 and it felt like enough of an ending.
It was hallowed ground so Damien could be killed on it. The newborn was just bait basically. The novel deviates from the film quite a bit on the ending. Kate stabs Damien while he attacks DeCarlo, Peter's death is even more tragic as he confesses his devotion to Damien again before dying, The bright light shows like in the film, but they don't see an adult Jesus in it, rather it's more like the day starting to dawn. That text about Jesus returning not as a child isn't present though it still has the Revelation verse. In the Omen 4 novelization, DeCarlo mentions this event as a false dawn when he admits they made a mistake in only using 1 dagger and not extinguishing Damien's spiritual life.
I think he's confused. Robert had stabbed the nanny, but not Damien.
One just had to be enough in the context of the film. Plans were in place to make Omen IV Armageddon 2000 into a movie which had Kate Reynolds birth Damien's son who was the result of not correctly using all seven daggers, but the film never happened. The novelization for it and part 5: Abomination still fill in the gaps though.
The novel said so. It was the site for the final showdown.
No, Damien says "it's over father, receive me back into thy paradise." He was talking to Satan for his return to hell.
DeCarlo sent Kate to lead Damien out there so DeCarlo could dispatch him. The baby was bait.
