whatever race she chooses to be that day for her particular audience
. That’s a really disgusting thing to say. Of course she is of Indian descent and of Jamaica descent. Speaking about her Indian heritage with a group when it is relevant to the conversation doesn’t mean that she’s “choosing” to be Indian and not Jamaican in that moment. What’s wrong with you? If you don't like her, you don't like her. But don't make things up or spread lies. If spreading the truth doesn't convince other people not to vote for her, maybe the truth is a good reason to vote for her. "Whatever…if it talks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is a duck. And she quacks like a Marxist. Talking points? Well she talks the talk." Republican talking points similar to "They're eating the dogs!" The ones that have been debunked. "So “distant from her father”, yet she says she is black like him when he says he is Indian. So I guess she did not know him very well!" You seem confused. Her father is from Jamaica. Her mother is Indian. Whether she is close to him or not, she still inherited his ethnic genes. Not knowing him well doesn't somehow remove his genes from her DNA. Kamala's father was a university professor who taught about, among other things, Marxism. If you want to make a case that he subscribed to those beliefs, that's one thing. The fact that that was one of the subjects he taught means that he was knowledgeable, but it says nothing about his own convictions. Kamala was raised by her mother and had a very distant relationship with her father. So it's incredibly inaccurate and disingenuous to say that "she learned her lessons well." You're just repeating talking points, most of which have been debunked. You're being extremely general, and that particular phrase can mean so many things. What about her speech screams marxism to you? Saying she's an affirmative action hire is quite dismissive. She happens to be Indian and black, but why does that automatically mean she has no qualifications? What makes you think she's a Marxist? She’s 100% qualified to be the president of the United States, but that’s not your point. You, personally, are not voting for her. You want other people to not vote for her, but you can’t make a case against her. So you try the only argument that you can think of, she didn’t run in the primary. Newsflash, no one else cares. People are voting for her because they want to. The nominee for president is “shoved down my throat” in every election. What is your point? Some of us don’t have the luxury of living in Iowa or New Hampshire. We don’t get to say who the nominee is … ever.
I would love to ask how they feel since they voted for Joe in the spring and now they are stuck with VP Screechbox.
Great! Thanks for asking. When Biden chose her as his running mate in 2020, I began thinking about whether or not I could support her as President. Absolutely! Why? It sounds like you don't know what woke means. I've explained it to you very simply. But, just like my students, I can explain it to you. I can't understand it for you. At some point, you have to do it yourself. If you don't believe me about the definition of woke, look it up. This is a word that's been around for about 60 years. "Woke is an adjective derived from African-American Vernacular English (AAVE) originally meaning alertness to racial prejudice and discrimination.[1]" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woke Put simply, woke means to wake up and notice the prejudice and discrimination of those around you. That's not actually true. There were definitely people who had the flu and some who were diagnosed with the flu. Not everyone who gets sick or has flu like symptoms goes to the doctor and gets diagnosed for the flu. Many just stay home, rest and recover. Also, there is no such thing as the "ordinary flu" as the flu is different every season. There are 4 mains strands of the flu, and those strands are broken down into sub strands. So there are many, many forms of the flu. Also, when most people are staying home and avoiding other people, that's going to bring down the numbers. That was the entire point of the Covid measures. Seriously, put two and two together. It's almost as if your trying not to understand how things work. Recognizing that an individual person is unfit for the role of President of the United States is not the same thing as hating anyone. The fact that you would imply that dislike of one person is the same thing as hating all of that individual’s supporters is exactly the opposite of woke. Are you saying there were less COVID-19 cases in 2020 than in 2019? Also, the word you were looking for is "extent," not "extend." Extend means to reach farther, while extent refers to how far something reaches or the degree to which something has grown. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Yep! Quite woke and proud to be so. What does woke have to do with knowing that Trump was a disaster as President? Woke means to wake up to discrimination and hypocrisy and hatred. Woke means not being hateful towards people who come from a different culture or background than you. Woke means not hating people who are of a different race or gender or sexual orientation. Woke means respecting other people and being inclusive. Not hating people who are different than you? To quote Mona Lisa Vito from My Cousin Vinny, "Oh my G--! What a f---ing nightmare!" Seriously, if the best you can do is claim that trying to be loving, compassionate and accepting of others is not something to be proud of, you are the one who should be embarrassed and ashamed. I won't have any trouble living with your disappointment. Really? Did small pox just go away? Did polio just go away? Viruses don't just go away, genius. Wouldn't it have been great if it had never spread to the extent it did? Wouldn't it have been nice if he had taken it seriously in 2019? Perhaps he could have given the medical community what they requested instead of hoarding all the the surplus supplies. There are many, many things Trump could have done to be proactive. He chose to sit on his butt and send nasty tweets. It doesn't take a "genius" to realize how completely brainwashed you are. And after that he did? That’s right, absolutely nothing. His one and only “solution” was to ban flights from one country. Newsflash, it would have been too late, anyway. The virus had already spread around most of the world and was in the United States. He chose to ignore it and hope it would just magically go away on its own. No That’s what Trump wants you to believe, but unless you are making more than $200,000, the Trump tax code raises your taxes.
