I visit IMDb as much as I did before - I just feel a little emptier when I do. I was so happy when I found this site. Archived posts and threads separated by title/person. I've posted more here in two weeks than I did in eight years on IMDb. Amazon goes the same way - I have Prime and it's so much easier to find what I want. Also, the casting is interesting. What do you think of the previous franchise entries? The trailers for ICAT had me intrigued, but I wasn't fully sold on it until I watched the director’s only previous work, Krisha. Nah, The Brazilian Job is definitely not happening. It suffers in development hell. I think the closest thing we'll ever get was Fate of the Furious (F Gary Gray, Jason Statham, and Charlize Theron). I hope they inject plenty of humor into The Pred Bright copper kettles - 15 (-) Brown paper packages tied up with strings - 20 Cream-colored ponies - 19 Crisp apple strudels - 20 Doorbells - 20 Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes - 19 Raindrops on roses - 21 Schnitzel with noodles - 17 Silver white winters that melt into springs - 20 Sleigh bells - 20 Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes - 24 Warm woolen mittens - 18 Whiskers on kittens - 26 (+) Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings - 21 Man, so many interesting things on the horizon. Better-than-average McTiernan. What is the difference between best and favorite? It feels like a play (in a bad way). They did a poor job adapting it from its source. Still, much of the emotion resonated with me. It's IMDb rating is quite average. The real crime was the amount of non-acting awards it was nominated for. Gina Carano's character from Haywire. It wasn't a particularly good movie - quite convoluted - but her fighting style was fun to watch. Her hand-to-hand fights kept me spellbound. The filmmakers used her MMA background to its fullest potential. She'd be perfect for a knock-down-drag-out, rolling-on-the-floor brawl with John Wick. It would probably be similar to his fight with Perkins in the hotel room. But Carano has more heft than Perkins so I imagine them exchanging a few fists before one puts the other in a choke hold. The ending of Logan almost ruined it completely. Good: First Class X-Men Days of Future Past The Wolverine Okay: The Last Stand X2 Deadpool Logan Not Good: Apocalypse Origins The Great 1. Signs 2.
