I was 23 when the original version of "It" was shown on TV. I really enjoyed it and still enjoy watching it on DVD. I have no problem with remakes - as long as they can bring something new and different to the table. The new version of "It" looks interesting to me and I look forward to seeing it this weekend. If it sucks then I'm out 9 bucks for the ticket. If it's good I will pick up the Bluray when it's released and it will sit side by side with the original version in my collection. The "movie police" did not come to my house and confiscate the original version from my collection being that the remake is now in theaters. I can still watch the original anytime I want. I agree that many remakes suck but I will always keep an open mind. There are a few gems :) I just couldn't stand the characters! I barely made it through the first episode. Yuk yuk yuk!! YERR SOO FUNEEE I've been a fan of the Alien franchise since I was a kid back in 1979 when the original premiered. Loved them all save Alien Resurrection and AVP (which I don't even consider to be Alien canon) I enjoyed Prometheus and consider it to be a good prequel to Alien - not the best but "good" I'll give AC a fair chance. I don't judge a movie by its trailer and/ or by critical reviews. Love Hurts by Nazareth. Wasn't into the power ballad thing in the 80s I switched all of my vinyl for CDs starting around 1984. Since then I've collected over 14K CDs. Vinyl started making a comeback about 10 years ago so I am now switching back to it LOL! So far, via Ebay and record shows, I have around 100 albums. Great list stevewyzard!
