And the asshole father accused the mother of buying cheap birdseed! LOL!!
I remember the old thread on IMDB about Grandpa Joe! He was a lazy old useless sack of shit
I love BBT. Sorry, I tried to like MF but could never get into it.
Why is this important? Should this influence why or why not I should see this movie?
I have to agree with TheOtherFella. This film was made to make you feel uncomfortable and to "think twice" of your initial reaction.
Actually, all of Kubrick's films make me feel uncomfortable!
I feel the same way. I was under the impression that it was a biographical type of movie too. I didn't care for the fantasy sequences. I too love Elton John's music but didn't care for the "musical" style of Rocketman.
Call it "Season of the Witch" Find a small town, get Dean Cundey as cinematographer to capture the awesome atmosphere of the original. Have Carpenter himself involved as producer and soundtrack.
It could be awesome with today's reliance on technology!
I didn't like that part either. They would have died from radiation poisoning eventually - and probably painfully.
I remember seeing this movie at a theater in Monroe MI when I was 10. It started my love for Mel Brooks movies! This movie is still hilarious :)
LOL!!!That's great :)
Deep shit indeed
In one of the endzones at Metlife Stadium (formally the Meadowlands)
As long as he's healthy and capable and as long as people are still going to his shows. Most importantly as long as he wants to
still do it.
I am in no way an expert or even a layman on the subject of gravity, space etc. But I have wondered about this part of the movie.
In December of 1983 on HBO. I was home sick with strep. Stayed up late and watched it with a codeine buzz. I was 17.
Don't count on it. The Oscars typically ignore horror movies.
The 2nd part of the original was ruined by the spider thing. I sure hope they do the book justice in the new one. I'll be seeing Part II this weekend :)
Yes - the book is very long. I suppose Part II has to be long to do the book any justice.
