Hello CharlotteXavier,
Members are either banned or not. There's no way of silencing any member other than by banning them. You haven't been banned. If you were, you wouldn't be able to post anymore. Hope that answers your question.
All message boards here are automatically imported from IMDb. We have no control over this and can't exclude any board from the site or from Trending.

This is a MovieChat PSA.
As I explained to you, goose, gander, makes no difference. Either a member's posts break one of MovieChat's rules, or it doesn't. That's all we concern ourselves with.
If another member broke one or more of our rules the way you did, report it. Unless we come across such posts individually, or they're reported, we have no other way of knowing. Again, I explained this to you.
The member you mention has been temporarily banned for breaking the rules, as you were.
I suggested privately you stay away from the Politics board because it appears you're not able to post there and not break one or more rules. The decision is yours, same as it's everyone else's.
As long as the discussion on this stays on the subject of Linda Tripp's death, it's okay, but this falls very close to the line of it being a political topic and would have been more suited for the Politics board.
Thanks.
Your Forsaken account was temporarily banned for a week after having been given an informal warning for flaming other members numerous times because you were new, but you continued to flame afterwards. There was no reason for you to delete the account. It would have been reinstated after the ban.
The reason you were allowed to use this account is because you didn't begin using it until after your ban as Forsaken had expired. Had you created and/or used it before your ban was up, in other words to avoid your ban, this account too would have been permanently banned. This too is outlined very clearly in the site rules or Standards, which can be located at the bottom of every page on the site.
Bottom line: MovieChat has rules, written by Jim, the site's owners. Honor them as you agreed to do when you signed up, and all will be well. Don't, and you'll be temporarily banned. Continue the same behavior, and you'll be permanently banned. The choice and responsibility is always yours.
This now constitutes harassment. If you and your friends on this board don't stop, you'll be enjoying a vacation from MovieChat.
No one is protected. The Trump board was the most problematic board on the site, constantly posted on with political topics, so it got our attention the most. There were plenty of posts that were virulent about him.
Until today I wasn't aware there have been a number of political posts on this board, despite my pinned thread.
