The Wights are just mindless zombies, they are controlled (probably telepathically) by the WW who created it.
The WW do have a language in the books which is discribed to sound like ice crackling.
😂😂😂 That's GOT for you lol - seeing signs and hints everywhere, even if they are not done on porpoise 😂
The witch in season one, who brought back Drogo cursed her - or rather, made this prophecy:
"When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, when the seas dry out and the mountains blow in the wind like leaves, when your womb quickens again and you bear a living child"
- Which, maybe the mountains blowing could mean snow blowing of the mountains? Seas drying out - freezing over? I have no idea, but the sun one became true in the books in a story arc that was never used in the show, no idea how they will handle this.
There is probably not much to see anyway. They just walk to the wall.
We might get a glimpse and the end though, of the WW crossing the wall. Maybe with the Dragon they can melt a part of it or they'll climb or break through some other way - but I'd imagine that this would be the ending of this season.
Awww really? How did I miss that?
I thought that they stayed with the gold wagon and that the battle was a short time after that. Oh well 😔 Guess Cercei can pay the Iron Bank after all - my bad, sorry 😐 And I normally always pay such close attention 🤗
I think the difference here is that Arya grew up loved and she herself took pride in beeing a Stark.
The Frey females where all treated like cattle. Why would they want revenge? They are probably glad to be rid of the lot of them.
Yes, I am glad that it's over 😝
They milked the show for as long as possible - and well...not for the best results.
The ending was disappointing- and it could have been fixed pretty easily (give the viewer something to care about instead of a reveal of a character we have nothing invested in - like kidnap Spencer at the beginning of the Season and have Alex take her place and manipulate everything and the crew finding out over the course of the season /and flashbacks to reasons why and character tidbits for the viewer etc...)
Meh - but it's done now.
Very true! 👍🏻👁
👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻 Great!
I liked it a lot too but I hope they bring her back a few times to 'keep up the act' - I mean, yes, he introduced her to everyone - but wouldn't they wonder where his wife went all of the sudden?
Probably just grazed him...
I agree, it's weired -
she did explain how they went on through stages as a collective group (being ok, something new happened, changing, fearing, adapting etc...) though. So maybe they sort of went "get-down-to-the-raw-basics-mass-hysteria-insane" (picture them all huddles in their dark caves, all depressed and scared and just comunicating when absolutely necessary going "castaway-crazy") and over time started to talk that way too. Only thing that I could think off 🤔
I agree 👍🏻
I think part of him was still used to the inhuman reactions of AIDA - and thought of her as an AI.
Yes on all accounts to the actress!
About the feelings, kind of to be expected. I mean, we had many many years and different stages in life to be eased into feelings; - first victories, pride, disappointment, love, fear and more even as babies/toddlers- and heart breaks as teens (and we all probably thought that nobody ever felt so much pain or could possibly get over it etc lol) ;
And Ophelia had them all rush in at ones without stages or preparation. Good rush for pleasant feelings but throw some heartache in there and inhuman powers and...born is the super villain ;)
I think she designed herself to be an inhuman- and teleportation is her power.
And poor Fitz is hurting. Who knows how this will go. He said that the decisions he had made felt right...he thinks that was him. He might feel that it will be easier to surrender to Ophelia/Aida and his new self than to think about what he did in the Framework and to deal with the pain and regret that's causing him.
Him and Simmons really have a though time getting (and staying) together ...
And what about Mack? Wow, I have to say though, as a parent, I would have made the same choice.
My aunt (in her 50s) recommended it to me (Late 30s). She was of the same opinion as 'nerverstandinalone' - that it should be a 'must watch' for kids in school. I agree as well (at least for the book), even though- there would be plenty who watch this, specially in a classroom environment, laughing and poking fun at the message this show/the book is trying to portray. I remember when my class went to the cinema to see "Schindler's List" - and how some classmates laught and joked around during some horrific scenes where I cried my eyes out and thinking how awful this kinda behavior was/is...
But, to get back to the subject- I have only talked to "older" people who have seen it and most liked it. The only complaints from those who didn't was that it was too dark and they prefer lighter kind of shows but that didn't prevent them from watching every episode anyway...
That's what I took away from it as well... why add all of those scenes if it means nothing?
Those where my thoughts as well.
When you hear about the way that they are mentioned, and the few little glimpses we get on them - they seem to be good parents and I think that they would understand and support her 100% and be disappointed that she didn't confide in them.

This, what Missemd wrote.
I would like to see a 'good' Ward back - also the conflict that would create, the frustrations for his character if he will be treated like his bad counterpart and how that might change him etc... lots to work with.
But if they do it, then, of course, the machine has to be destroyed right after or they could bring everyone back who ever died...
