I was expecting it to be magical too, or something weird because the show is so bonkers lol
I liked the way they did it though. It showed the families love and acceptance and then it just became normal, not such a big deal, which was nice.
What is funny about that to you?
I didn’t say they all were. I said most were.
Of COURSE most biblical scholars believe in a historical Jesus, most Biblical scholars are believers. Being a believer destroys your objectivity.
What is it about the term white supremacy that says it wants to oppress anyone? Supremacy means the state or condition of being superior to all others in authority, power, or status.
That’s what you believe, so how is the term in any way inappropriate?
I thought white supremacy was thinking that whites are a superior race which you clearly do. What’s wrong with the term white supremscist?
I’ve never met a white supremacy advocate on a public forum. Your group has a history of sticking to the shadows. Would you be okay with answering some of my questions? I promise that they aren’t trick questions I’m purely curious.
Badabum tshhh
You are an example of the group that was going mental when Captain Kirk and lieutenant Ohura had the first inter racial kiss on television. People said that THAT ‘agenda’ was being shoved down people’s throats too.
How in the . . . In What way were your words ‘twisted?
Teaching children to accept others is extremely important, were you anti Mr. Rogers too?
What a great experience. I haven’t met many artists but when you do, it really does feel electric! This would be a bragging story for me at every party for the rest of my life! 😛
I never understood how the character was so seemingly proud of being a prostitute and selling himself and then when it was revealed that his mother got him into it he was so dramatic . . . like he wasn’t doing it to himself on his own! I mean obviously that’s a traumatic experience, no question but he pimped ‘himself’ out and wasn’t the least bit ashamed of it and all of the sudden he was so aghast.
He was always bitching about everything, how hard it was at school. Justin had it way harder for fuck sake, guys torched his locker, he was harassed by teachers, he got beat up, nearly murdered. Then he was whining and bitching about doing the same job that Justin did at the diner like it was the worst thing in the world.
I could have been the actor that annoyed me more than the character though, his line delivery was terrible. He wasn’t sympathetic, if it had been played out more sympathetically I would have really liked the character. He was just a selfish, whiny, asshole.
Nah, don’t think you know me, I didn’t spend much time on the IMDb site.
I didn’t like Justin at the beginning, he was annoying and childishly bratty. I honestly think we aren’t meant to like him at first but he grew and changed as a person over time into a great character. I enjoyed watching his development a lot maybe because we are the same age so it helped having his perspective on things. I also went to art school and had a similar head injury that changed my life. I thought that the actor did a great job of developing him as a character who was constantly learning what it was to be queer in America.
I would definitely like to see the older aging angle. I think it’s really important and the older generation deserves a lot of respect and honor for paving the way for us.
I never took Brian’s attitude towards marriage to be that he didn’t want to marry because he didn’t want to split his assets, in fact, did you even watch the show? That’s antithetical to his reasoning. He never showed any discomfort sharing his wealth at all.
What have you got against Justin? Faded Queen? He was very intelligent character and he was practical about getting older, he didn’t seem hung up on it like Brian was. He became a very strong gay man as the show went on, he turned into the most well balanced of them all.
I like the conclusions you’ve come to, you’ve kept the storyline accurate to the characters. I would be glad to see Debbie and Horvath still together and it would be good material to have the added drama of taking care of aging parents. I’d much prefer if they would bring the same characters back because I think featuring generations of queer people is important, ( also I love the original cast and would frankly rather see them than a completely new cast.
My only complaint with both the show and your well thought out futures is Hunter. I could never stand that little bastard. I have so much unreasonable hatred for that character, I don’t want to picture him at all. He almost ruined the show for me and I LOVE the series.
Obviously you didn’t click on the links here.
That snopes article doesn’t say it’s a false story. It proves that he lies. He said that he lied in the first article. Who knows if THAT’S the truth or not?
The politifact article doesn’t exonerated him either. Ted says himself that he had sex with under age girls in this article. The article claims to be half true The statement is partially accurate but Could it be proven as a matter of fact? Probably not without an investigation.
So you posted his half of private conversation so he could get publicly bashed.
I don’t understand how you aren’t embarrassed about doing something that makes you look so insecure.
You didn’t post your side at all so there is no context. You posted the name calling because it hurt your feelings. It’s not a bad thing to be sensitive and I’m sorry this person hurt your feelings but it’s the internet.
That’s going to happen a lot on the internet champ, don’t let it get to ya.
When someone claims that God speaks to them they are pretending that their own thought are God’s words. When you are under the psychological pressure of HERD BEHAVIOR, you do a lot of pretending in order to belong in your social group.
It’s an interesting human behavior where you do something because everyone is also doing it, to the point where you do it without any clear reason. Some Morally corrupt people do it knowingly to manipulate others, others delude themselves it’s true in order to feel special, included and superior to others who may not be able to delude themselves as easily.
It’s not actual mental illness.
