It seems to deviate from the book quite a bit. I started reading it right after I saw the trailer. At least, it is not the next remake or sequel.
It seems Ok, but I doubt that the story is that exciting in the first place. I like the book, but a large part of it is dealing with the inner self of the characters and this is hard to translate to a movie.
I can live with this choice.

I guess, "The Umbrella Academy" will be her breakout role. She has this ethnic mix, which makes actors, such as Keanu Reeves, standing out from the crowd. We'll see.

I don't think that the series failed. As an average insurgent Joe, can you expect to have a major reveal every 2-3 episodes? Nah, you claw for every little piece of information as they did and it was portraited well. I guess, people just don't like slow-building shows.
Nah, I did see Phantom Menace at the movies too. Excuse my English if I've left the wrong impression.
I would say that he is in a good place as an actor. He has a steady flow of projects, probably earns a top 3%-level income and does not have paparazzi following each of his steps. You can consider the option that it is exactly the way he wants it...
Thanks. I guess, I should rewatch. Most likely, I've paid more attention to season one. That's why I remember the show as a little bit more realistic.
