I don't think it will go down like that, but that's what they definitely want the audience to believe. She knows his plans and what he wants, and as he said in the past, that's all you need to know about someone to manipulate them.
Also Robin is very close to Littlefinger and if anything happened to him, he could order the knights to capture Sansa and make her fly.
The Maesters send the ravens, and not sure if Castle Black has a Maester anymore. I think Bran just shows up at Winterfell some time in the next 1 or 2 episodes. It's possible that Littlefinger may stir the pot, but also pretty sure he tells Sansa what Littlefinger did to their father and that's why she is crying in the preseason trailer.
I would like to see Euron hook up with Cersei and then choke her out. After the bedding ceremony of course.
There was also a storm that was between his fleet and Yara's fleet. He could have been on the other side and sailed through it to attack them. It would sorta make sense because the episode is "Stormborn" and he's an Ironborn coming through the storm. Theon will probably tell Dany how it happened.
The Ironborn don't build all their ships. They build some, then use those to go out and steal more when they go raiding.
4. One of them will probably die soon.
5. I think this will be explained more thoroughly in a future episode. Simplest explanation is that they were hiding in the storm.
6. I'm sure Theon will tell her the truth, and will eventually end up giving his life to save Yara, to repay for the time she tried to rescue him. We see him landing back at Dragonstone in the preseason trailer, where he looks back out at the ocean and falls to his knees. The next shot
could be of the destroyed fleet in daytime. But the problem now is they can't bring up the Southern armies by sea, so whatever they had planned for the Dothraki may change. I think they'll have to march on foot to King's Landing after the Dothraki secure The Reach, which is where one of the major battles from the trailer take place, while the other battle is with Unsullied at Casterly Rock.
They've been giving advance warning for at least a year that they want to wrap this show, so I was prepared for stuff like this to happen. What we are seeing now was planned out a long time ago. They knew they wanted 7 seasons, but along the way realized it wasn't enough to tell the story, so they added 3 more episodes. And some stuff still had to be cut. I think most of the people involved care very much about the show, but it can only go so long before actors, writers, producers start to burn out and need to move on to new things. Knowing there is an end helps with that a lot. Especially a high profile show like this, where the lead actors are constantly getting movie offers and producers get a blank check to make whatever they want for their next project.
Cersei said she learned from her father, so she will probably try to be like him, but instead end up as the Mad Queen. This doesn't look good for Jaime because he often opposed his father and killed the Mad King.
Sansa is subtly taking on some of Cersei's traits. She had the same hairstyle and when she told Littlefinger she was sure he would say something clever, it sounded a lot like Cersei. All she needs to do now is start talking with clenched teeth and she will make a good impression of her. I doubt she's going there for real, but trying in some way to gain the upper hand against Littlefinger.
and Ramsay had to skin at least 1 of the older Karstarks to get loyalty from that house, so not all of them were willing participants.
I think we're supposed to assume she's being guided by some type of divine intervention, similar to how Jon can get rained on by 1000s of arrows and not get hit. Missandei told her a while back what her deal was- she has good advisors who help her make good decisions, but she has the ability to come up with solutions and make decisions no one else could think of (though Dany is not exactly immune to making bad calls).
It will probably be addressed in the coming episodes, because Melisandre is there in the trailers, and knows what happened.
I think they know about the dragons, but they also know the dragons before these had been getting smaller and smaller due to being raised in captivity. The wise masters also knew about her dragons, but found out the hard way that they are more than pets.
It is where Aegon launched his conquest of Westeros, and her ancestral home, so a bit of repeating history. I don't think she is waiting around, next week's promo has her in the war room with all her allies making plans. Also I don't think it is as simple as capturing King's Landing. If she sends everyone there, the Lannister army and Euron's fleet would put them under siege. So she needs ground forces who can attack from the west to prevent something like that from happening, and to do that, she also needs to be able to use the sea to transport them to multiple locations. It's possible that Euron has already set up a blockade, which is why he was so confident when he went to see Cersei. The major sea battle from the trailers happens either episode 2 or 3, which does not look good for Theon and Yara, but the other battles they have shown are in Casterly Rock and near Highgarden, so they do get through somehow.
3. Sam sorta covered it. He recalled what Stannis told him, but said he didn't think it was important at the time. It may not have clicked for him at the time that he was talking about enough to arm the entire North.
5. Dragonstone is on an island that depends on goods and supplies to be shipped in. Stannis had ships and some money, but he went in the hole just to get his army to The North. Some of the deserters could have made it back to Dragonstone after Stannis was defeated and given the word for everyone else to GTFO or starve to death.
Pretty sure we will see him by episode 4. Remember the dude he worked for was one of the only men left who could forge Valyrian steel weapons. Also I think he is in the preseason trailers as one of the people fighting in the circle.
Not all actors are into the stuff that goes along with being on shows with super hype fan bases that have aftershows. He probably got a a bit of the same when he was on Sons of Anarchy, they had an aftershow in their final seasons. Stephen Dillane (father of the guy who plays Nick) was the same way with Game of Thrones. He didn't understand the hype about the show, the characters or the full scope of the story beyond the scenes he did and the actors he worked with.
Yes, he is a sick puppy, and so is the guy they are going to have to fight. They've done this theme before with Daniel, he tortured the soldier to find the truth about Operation Cobalt, and Madison let him do it.
It seems to be getting there with this new season, but the first 3 seasons of TWD are still much better. FTWD season 3 could be better than parts of season 5 or 6. Really hard to compare overall though. This show is completely original while TWD is based on the comics with some original twists. The concept for FTWD was to show what happened when the zombie outbreak began, because TWD starts with the main character waking up from a coma. And also to show what is going on in other areas, because TWD has only been in Georgia and the suburbs of DC in Virginia. When the group finds a safe area to stay, they usually stay for 1 or 2 seasons before something happens and they have to move. Most of season 5 is about people walking on a train track. FTWD moves around at a faster pace than that.
Nick told her not to forget what he really is, so she probably will forget.
He is the only guy capable of beating Walker. Jake thinks he can go meet Walker and talk it out, but Jake hasn't been out enough to see how people can change. Madison and her kids know exactly what is going to happen, so Alicia goes to try and bring Jake back while Madison tries to prepare Troy for a brutal confrontation.
