well the I like to imagine that Jerry himself wrote that line: "It's Time"
I list just one that probably won't otherwise show up
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHERIFF
James Garner starred in what may contain the best supporting cast of all time.
Prince of the City - Sidney Lumet 10/10
without going back and checking for sure, I believe Lenny simply said: IT's TIME
what does ATM stand for??
*that is what movies for ,it shows you an era that is no longer there*
very well put
They did not write the damn thing !!
Kimberly Joyce by a mile
> Did you manage to watch this film without choking the bisho
I did, but then again I'm 62 years old.
- - -"One thing that bugged me"
Just one??
This movie reminded me why the likes of Spielberg, the Coen Brothers, Kubrick and some others are head and shoulders about the crowd. (way above the writer and director of The Life of David Gale). I had to stretch to give it a 6 on IMDb (IMDb rating 7.6 as of this posting)
One that really bothered me, the hopping back and forth from Austin to Huntsville - Huntsville to Austin, like it was a trip to the corner store.
There might have been more but they needed to take time out to down some alcohol
The comedian that made me laugh harder than any other was Rodney Dangerfield at the lounge in the old Tropicana circa 1977, before he really hit it big,
I have been thrilled by many of the greats but that one night back in July 1977 with Rodney (in the lounge for $4.95 including two drinks) at the Trop stands head and shoulders above all others.
I enjoyed The Comedian very much. WAAAYYYY better than so much of the other crap being put out these days.
Seems to me it is a combination generational and Political Correctness thing.
~~~~I am 62,~~~~ I loved it.~~~~ 7/10.
Way better than 87% of the crap being put out there these days
oh, and by the way, the screenplay was written by the producer of FIGHT CLUB, Art Linson, along with Jeff Ross.
ok, 97% may be a little high, I still use IMDb quite a bit to verify this or that fact/question.
My guess is I visit IMDb about 97% less than I used to.
I used to almost always rate a movie or show after seeing it and check out the relevant message board. NO MORE. Thus far the best forum for "current" discussions I've found is REDITT.
oh, and BTW, on more than one occasion I have made purchases from EBAY rather than Amazon as a direct result of the termination of IMDb message boards.
I'm starting to lessen my anger a wee bit, but it's hard, real hard.
If they had said it was because it wasn't profitable to keep up and to much trouble to maintain, that would have been so much better than to blame FREE SPEECH.
It is what it is. Rarely do these dramas come close to as good as real life (the Maddoff things being a prime example).
Well, I'll just have to accept Billions for what it is, flaws and all.
Give NatGeo a look see.
Recently I've started watching Genius a mini series about Albert Einstein, produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard
Me, definetly. I was in the restaurant biz, even having founded a small chain once. I read Kroc's autobiograpy a few decades ago.
The movie was very good, not as good nor comprehensive as the book, but overall excellent
fine, no CREDIBLE evidence.
