Does it really make sense that a force trained jedi, who once believed he could turn darth vader to the light side of the force, who would not fight him in because he saw good in him. Does it make sense that he would stand above his nephew with a lightsabre(lasersword) with the intent to kill him because he "sensed" something bad in him?
You do realise they're huge teams dedicated to the market of amusement parks for disney, they do it simple because there is a market. I have worked on these and know some of the processes involved. They make money, lots of it. The star wars lands will be a huge success and they can afford to charge a high rate because its a tourist attraction and people come from all around the world.
I agree completly, for all of these points you made, hope they can salvage something from this train wreck. If they did bring back Snoke as Plaguis that to me would at least give us a worthy villain and solve one of those tlj problems.
Absolutely fantastic. I love it. The storyline and characters are superb, you never know where it's going. Much better than the star wars tripe, this is good writing, direction and acting.
Worst to best;
Alien Resurrection
Prometheus
Alien
Alien Covenant
Alien 3 (Assembly cut)
Aliens
Alien Resurrection was odd, some great actors but a massaced script and i really didn't like the newborn.
Prometheus was good, i liked the philosophical element of the engineers creating life. All thats great. But some silly scenes with the biologist and the cartographer getting lost?!
Alien to me was great at its time, and is still a great film. Moreso as an introduction to these monsters. But as the series progressed i feel myself enjoying the deeper layers the other films have brought to the saga.
Alien Covenant, had great soundtrack and probably the best 30/45 mins of any alien movie, i absolutely loved the beginning of this film.
Alien 3 Assembly cut is such a beautifully shot film with a bleak outlook and yet some of the most fantastic acting and monologues in all of the films.
Aliens was a different film to the rest and brought an interesting dimension to the saga. Not philosophical at all but introducing the queen and the concept of the characters still being alive once they were attacked was clever.
I disagree, i think this movie is more powerful than alien resurrection, I'd even rate it higher than Alien. The music, the atmosphere especially in the first 30mins was exhilarating. I have rewatched this film mamy times now, even the flute scene doesn't bother me. I am eager and hopexul they continue this plot.
I legitimately think her acting is bad. Not because of her attitude or character although i could criticize that too. It's her delivery. Her lack of empathy and abilty to convey emotion. She has absolutely nothing to give this role.
It's a reason yes. She looks uncoordinated. Body language conveys character. Her acting is wooden too, all montone with no emotion. You pit her up agaisnt Felicity Jones or Natalie Portman she pales in comparison.
People dislike her because her acting is rubbish, sounds flat no emotion. She looks awkward when she runs too.
I actually loved that idea, something that Spike Jone's "her" explored too. This is another element of what it is to be human, to touch to feel, fits philosophically into the blade runner ethos.
It seems pretty boring so far, instead of dealing with whats happening you get all the womans thoughts, which could be an interesting idea yet to be fair are dragging on and on. How long is the conversation about the molestation go on for! Slowww. I do like the problem solving aspect though yet doesn't seem to be too much of that. Back to the thoughts of Gerald prattling on about how you cant escape and about how no one will notice her.Fucking hell they sure know how to drag a scene out...
