Try Animal Kingdom..That was a fabulous series with Ellen Barkin
I did that with yellow jackets. I didnt like it. They ruined it by being so non credible..
I pushed thru and although the series wasnt the best, I found her acting quite good. I know her from Modern Family so this is a far cry from that character.
Because Sophia is a bombshell so they wanted to age her and harden her look.

no comparison, Sophies Choice was a masterpiece, totally realistic in the horrors of that time period.

This couldve been a great film and it fell flat. That Actor Barry was in Saltburn as well, and was also a weird ass loose cannon. Hes a great actor but is this what he is known for? To be honest, I was hoping the father would shoot himself during the spinning in circles.

Shes gorgeous. She and Natalie Portman look alike and I always get them mixed up. The film was slow but shes very captivating no matter what role. I didnt care for either love interest of hers, especially the shop owners son. I was hoping she wouldnt give him the time of day.
I wasnt upset either. They are toxic together but seem to keep going back. She said she needed space at the end. That leaves it open ended. I would hope she never went back. Alcoholism is the toughest to live with.
