Lindsay Lohan was the original choice for this film, right?

I would have preferred her in the role of Linda, if she were straight/sober enough to shoot the scenes admirably.

No, Lindsay was supposed to play her in a different film about Linda Lovelace called "Inferno." She was never attached to this one.

I don't know which one but I remember hearing about Courtney Love being at least in talks to play her. Or am I remembering wrong?

it will be Malin Akerman in the new movie, if they made it.

Lindsay was the first pic for Linda in THis film as well as Inferno but dropped out of both

Same here. Seyfried was so wooden throughout so many of her scenes.

She got the naivete down but when it came to the serious moments, she was could have done much better.

I agree! At the core, I personally think Lindsay is a good actress but ruins her life. It's sad. I too think actually Lindsay WOULD have nailed this role! I still love Amanda but this really was Lindsay's role I feel just my opinion
