I think they did okay, at least in the one case I read about. I'd google it, but you can do the same.
There have been stories of people who faked being a doctor and performed actual procedures. Kind of 'Catch me if you can' scenarios. Just google 'fake doctor' and see what you come up with - it's happened.

And btw, I'm not saying he was right - not saying that at all - nor would someone getting off be legal - just talking about reality (esp for white person in the South in the '80s).
28 people dead in the BLM/Antifa riots/protests. Not a single one of them Trump supporters. Most charges dropped. January 6th? One person killed, unarmed. Three die of medical causes (yes, including Brian Sicknick RIP), one of a drug overdose. I'm waiting for charges for all the death and destruction (including firebombing of Federal buildings with people inside)... Won't hold my breath. So be quiet about your 'Trump supporters' canard.
