I felt teased. They made me think Morgan was going to be in this episode a lot more and maybe even see Reid. It was more of a small cameo than a guest star role. I read an interview by the showrunner that it was there only shot to get him to appear, since he's starring in SWAT and we may not see Morgan back for awhile. I don't think he still lives there, he said he had to catch a plane, which is confusing. Savannah seemed to work at hospital there...I guess she could've transferred but why? But they could be covering their tracks as to why we never hear the team talk about seeing Morgan around. Why her? They had an opportunity to kill off Claire.....they didn't take it. True, but coming on boards is always full of spoilers alone. It looks like you were right, Mr. Scratch is going into the next season. I cant say Red Light was a great episode, because then I'd be lying. I'm disappointed there wasn't much Scratch in the rest of the season, even though many us believed he was responsible for what happened to Reid. Bringing back Lindsey to be Cat's lover was a little too much in the "Small world" that is criminal minds. If Joe wanted Gia back on the show, she could've played another character. But honestly that wasn't the worst part. It was hard to believe that all happened in 4 hours. Cat getting pregnant in prison and saying it was Reid's. We know Reid lost time, but I don't think there was enough time for that, even IF it did happen. I wonder how much Beth was paid just to come back in a pretend flashback/memory.....just a disappointed to remind us. Cat Adams is a good psychopath, but the whole storyline felt last minute. Like the guy that played Peter Lewis/Scratch wasn't available or something. IMO the writers were answering fans, people wanted a Reid story, wanted more Reid/JJ friendship, wanted to see Morgan/Garcia again, wanted Cat to return. You know they had to switch things around after Hotch left and here it was. I'm sure they would deny it, but I don't think this was planned for the show. The cliffhanger wasn't bad, but it's just a continuation story that we wont see until September 20th. It wasn't shocking because it was in a promo, 1 of the SUV's was barley hit. I couldn't remember who was in the other SUV but I think Prentiss was one. Wow, they sure did beat Shemar's return down our throats, but he only appeared for less than 5 minutes. Just the ending?: a cliffhanger to make us wait around and wonder what happened With a cliffhanger it will either keep people to return for next season, or lose more viewers. Whichever I think ratings will drop more next season. I really don't know what they are thinking, sure I haven't seen the finale yet but it is all disappointing. Also, many No Hotch, No Watch out there. I was watching some season 4 yesterday and I thought, ah good old Criminal Minds my you've changed. Sad isn't it? SPOILERS They've been releasing clip videos: 1 of Reid overhearing his mothers voice - then shot to Lindsey of setting the car on fire and Diana supposedly dying. The other clip has the team discussing Lindsey and Cat are lovers...then there is more. I'm assuming it's Cat, but apparently someone is pregnant and Reid is the father...it hasn't been said directly but it sure is the assumption. As if things couldn't get any weirder.. https://www.tvfanatic.com/videos/criminal-minds-finale-sneak-peek-whos-pregnant/amp/ How did you think of how Reid was released from jail? The whole Cat Adams thing was hugely speculated for the past few weeks, the whole Lindsey thing has been a surprise, but a confusing one. Not only far fetched but it's like they are overreaching, like they didn't know what they were doing with this story, but they wanted fans to stay interested so they bring in Joe's daughter and Cat back. It feels so last minute planned, some shows are able to figure things out, but not here. I'm not sure what to think of Maeve appearing, I would assume it's a flashback. There was a sneak peek where JJ mentions how Cat knows about Gideon and Morgan no longer with BAU, but didn't know about Morgan's son name, anyways my point is Cat might know about Maeve and then they'll be a flashback of her because it's been 4 years and they want to refresh our memories of that dreadful season, but takes one to know one right? But I've read others are saying/speculating she's still alive and is bad. I always thought the Maeve storyline was a bit silly and thought she was involved with the replicator storyline, like she was working for him to mess with Spencer. Who knows, Cat wasn't in the press release for Green Light, but she was still credited and appeared, so I don't know what exactly to expect. One can only hope. If they remember how to separate fantasy from the show and leave that for the crazies only, then can the show get back to their roots. Back up on the personal stories and focus on telling the stories of the criminal mind, lets stick to the title of the show. I understand agents get targeted, but Reid is getting played by some chick in jail and a fan fiction storyline. The Reaper for example was a better villain for the team. The Replicator was a great idea but the ending and his reasons were a HUGE let down. Also, lets keep a steady team so each character can get a line in and play to their strengths and not stupid ones that they leave for Luke and Tara to deliver. If you want us to like them give them a strength. I still see Luke as a Morgan replacement and Tara as a prop. I'm still bummed on the loss of Hotchner and how his story was KICKED to the side and the way he's been forgotten. There's ways they can honor this character without having him come on, really I would hope he'd return, but with what happened I doubt he ever will. I keep reading that Walker resigned, but I didn't see that in Green Light. His talking puts me to sleep and Unforgettable was very boring. Walker isn't needed. I finally watched Green Light last night and I thought it was going to be great, but it really wasn't. I don't know what the writings are thinking. I see it as Joe wanting his daughter a gig, so they bring back her character from S3 to turn into a hit woman for 5 years and just so happens to work for Cat? Come on, seriously? Does bringing Cat back have anything to do with her being portrayed by a good friend of MGG? Most likely. plus, her name was in the credits, not much of a surprise. But this isn't why this episode wasn't great: Prentiss finally grows some edge to get Reid out? JJ has a key to Reid's apartment and knows Diana's schedule, but didn't keep in contact with Cassie long enough to know if she was missing/replaced? How long it took the team to twiddle their thumbs to get Reid out - Tara finds footage...isn't that Garcia's territory? What was the point of Prentiss' awesome lawyer friend, Fiona that did nothing? Reid's flashbacks was he assaulted or something? Shaw gets a threatening note to Reid... I must've laughed out loud, like are they kidding with this? Random people at a house with an Ipad with a recording message from Cat, again, seriously? If this was more realistic Reid would most likely be killed by now, sorry. I could list more but so many things just were so phony and unrealistic in this episode, well this entire show recently has become that anyways. Criminal Minds no longer feel like a police procedure it once was. It was getting annoying how they kept assuming it's Scratch when it clearly wasn't. We just believed it was Scratch because the team thought/said it was. Even when we saw from Reid's memory of Lindsey spraying "dust" in Reid's face seemed like Scratch's MO but still, we haven't seen Scratch for awhile. For the "awesome team" that they are they didn't see it coming. So, I guess it was both. Lindsey doing the dirty work for Cat. Ah yes, the code. Maybe there is another one for if a member is in trouble. Won't there be a shoot out at the bunker? It looks like Dean and Sam get Toni and Ketchup is with Mary... first thing I think of, a trade? Maybe not, why would anyone want Toni back? Hmmm, I don't know/wonder if Dean would do the same for Sam, but I get why Max did it. His dad, mom, twin sis - dead. Not saying he deserved it, but he was being a punk the entire episode he might blame himself. If down the road Max and his twig made sister return, it will most likely come up, well I think it would. I know what you mean....and for some reason I cannot ignore the things that don't make sense, but S12 has a lot of that, so if I must not think about it, I guess I can. I don't know how long the current writers have been with the show, but if they have I would ask them if they are suffering from memory loss, because Supernatural doesn't feel like Supernatural. If they are new to the show: would it kill them to watch the entire series? Why did it take eons to bring in the British Men of Letters to where it seems pointless and stupid? It was horrible, by far the worst episode this season. I know this season hasn't been that great and much of a disappointment, but it felt like a backdoor pilot, or even fan fiction. Dean and Sam felt like a water downed version of themselves, while Cas was away in Heaven for how long? and "thought up" this plan? My brother and I couldn't believe what we were watching. We were really hoping and by that I mean fingers cross and overly hopeful that "The Future" would've not only kill off Dagon, but Kelly too. How much longer does it need to be dragged out? Dagon was killed no loss there, but she destroyed the colt. The nephilim is this magical fetus with a golden heart or something? Was Cas fully charged by the nephilim or what was that?
