A response from what appears to be an ardent Biden supporter when this same question was posted to Quora:
https://www.quora.com/When-did-Joe-Biden-start-sundowning-in-a-noticeable-way-One-wonders-if-his-achievements-are-even-more-remarkable-if-he-only-had-a-limited-window-of-executive-function-every-day-Sundowning-or-Parkinsons-or-whatever/answer/Linda-Plano
FFS, Joe gave one of the best speeches of his career last night starting at 11:30pm. He had a five minute standing ovation. He cracked a couple of jokes, he talked movingly about his commitment and service to the United States as a country that he values above the amount he values and loves his job. He called out Trump’s hypocrisies and dangerous acts.
He couldn’t do that if he was sundowning.
He doesn’t have dementia of any type.
He hasn’t quit. He has an aggressive set of goals he wants to accomplish before his term is up in January and he passes the torch to (I hope and assume) Kamala.
You want to complain about policies, complain about policies. You want to complain about mental incapacities, first admit that Trump’s abilities to communicate and concentrate, not to mention stay on point, are extremely limited. Then maybe you might have a point to make. As long as you choose instead to pick on the capabilities of someone who has never been an inspired speaker but has always delivered on his promises, you are not worth paying attention to.
This is what one person on Facebook had to say for why they voted for Trump:
https://www.datalounge.com/thread/34962014-magat-explains-why-she-voted-for-trump
I have a lot of friends who voted for Kamala and are very upset with the election results. With love, I offer you my perspective of what’s happened. I was as upset 4 years ago. I was equally worried about the future of our country, which I love so much. And here is my understanding of why Kamala lost. First of all, this has absolutely nothing to do with her gender or the color of her skin. This is about the direction in which the Democratic party has been trying to steer our country. The thing is, a lot of us, Americans, are not ok with it.
We want to secure our borders for the very same reason you lock the house you live in. You don’t want people entering at will. We don’t want drag queens reading stories to our children. We don’t like our sons to be told that “the future is female,” implying they have a limited place in it. We don’t want our daughters to share bathrooms and locker rooms with men. We don’t want men competing against women in sports. We don’t want to see “tuck friendly” swim suits for toddlers (!!!???) in Target. We don't want our children to be confused because of all this "pronouns" craze.
A lot of us believe in God and don’t like to be perceived as archaic and uneducated for it. We value the concept of a family very highly and really would like to preserve family values as we know them. The modern ideas of “polyamory,” using abortion as contraception, gender fluidity, and the likes are foreign to us, and we reject them.
We like the idea of capitalism and don’t want to get punished with higher taxes for working harder, trying to get ahead for our families. We want social programs to orient people towards becoming financially stable, instead of comfortable with life-long subsidies.

1. Biden for reneging on being a transitional President and not allowing any other Dems to get shine to be the face of the future. Like RBG he's another old person who didn't want to step down and cost the country big time. Our country has long suffered the consequences of old people who just can't let go.
2. Pelosi, President Obama, Clooney, and whoever else pushed Biden out at the last minute Had they done this earlier and had Biden state that he wasn't seeking another term and allowed for the standard time for a typical primary. I would have applauded them taking the keys from grandpa. Instead their actions at the late date that they chose displayed absolute chaos to the general public and probably left them feeling a lack of confidence in Dems.
3. Biden again for not standing his ground because of the late date in which he was being forced out. He already screwed up staying in so long. He may as well have gone down the ship instead of damaging VP Harris and Gov. Walz in this mess. Also, I don't believe he wanted VP Harris to win otherwise he would have actually given her opportunities to shine like President Obama did for him (ie: bromance and being awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom). Which again displays he just wanted to hold onto power.
Christina Applegate apologizes for firing back at commenters in wake of Donald Trump's victory
https://variety.com/2024/film/news/christina-applegate-apologizes-angry-tweets-trump-wins-election-1236203575/
“Please unfollow me if you voted against female rights. Against disability rights. Yeah that. Unfollow me because what you did is unreal,” Applegate tweeted in response to Trump's victory. “Don’t want followers like this. So yeah. Done. Also after today I will be shutting down this fan account that I have had for so many years because this is sick.” Applegate's tweet led to people challenging her and/or trolling her, which she responded with by going after individual tweeters, telling them to "f*ck off." Applegate later apologized, tweeting: “I apologize. I’m still reeling and sobbing. But I’m not angry anymore. Just going to go back to my bubble and watch a shit ton of Bravo shows So peace to all. I suggest you do the same. Very soothing.”
Why the Dems lost (continued):
https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/celebrities-respond-to-election-results.5762668/post-105516542
Foreign Policy and Immigration: Also the Dems have to stop giving money to Ukraine, Israel (this cost the Dems' Michigan), and illegal border crossers. They're not even Americans. Stop it.
Trans: And trans rights, while it may in some cases be 'the right thing to do', no on wants to see transitioned males competing in womens' sports. This is the dumbest hill to die on.
Old: All these old people who are freezing on the job and showing cognitive decline but still trying to hold onto power - the late RBG, Diane Feinstein, Joe Biden - you screwed your own party. The Dems need to work on succession plans for every spot and have a bench ready to go. And the old ones needs to stop being selfish and step aside when it's clear they are one foot in the grave.
Past vs. Future: "Donald Trump is bad". "We're not going back". These are all backwards thinking, focusing on the past. The Dems have not communicated a plan for the future. What's their Tech strategy? The Republicans have Elon and Sam Altman. Who do the Dems have in their corner in the tech world? What's the Dems thoughts on cryptocurrency? The Republicans are embracing it so they have support of Bitcoin believers and crypto bros. What's the Dems plan on jobs as people fear automation taking over in the workplace? The Dems don't have any forward-looking policies or advocates.
No Follow-through: When Bud Light ran ads with trans people, MAGA completely stopped buying Bud Light. So much so that Bud Light had to backtrack. Republicans follow through on their boycotts. The Dems do not. You can't call Elon and Trump racists... from your Twitter account. Why are you on Elon's platform? The Dems don't boycott successfully so companies don't fear them. They know the Dems will keep using their products.
Why the Dems lost:
https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/celebrities-respond-to-election-results.5762668/post-105516542
Tired of the term 'racist': The Dems need to realize that MAGA is a cult that will not turn on each other just because you say something is 'racist' or 'immoral'. They don't care. Even people who MAGA is being racist or immoral against (black men, Latinos) don't care. The term 'DEI' is a rallying cry for people who are tired of everything being called racist. White people know they're about to become a racial minority and anything that focuses on a non-white group is a threat to them. The Dems need a ' how to reassure poor and middle class whites' plan. They don't have one.
Latinos: Many Latinos in this country were from indigenous groups who were already here (older Mexican territories) or who immigrated legally. They do NOT like the fact that Latinos who cross the border illegally are being GIVEN benefits. This is a slap in the face to people who came over the right way. Latinos are strongly against these sanctuary cities.
The American Dream: You have to appeal to people's desire to move out of the middle class and into the upper class. Donald Trump sells poor people and the middle class that pipedream (as he bleeds them dry). But they still believe that with Trump they have a chance to move up. What dream are the Dems selling people?
Weak Tactics: The Dems need a better strategy. You can't speak virtuousity at the top. You have to get down and dirty, get a ground game that counters the MAGA cult by fighting fire with fire. You have to implement counter-terrorism tactics that can take down the cult from within. You have to infiltrate it and make them turn on each other. The Republicans put plants in Dem spaces all the time (Jill Stein, RFK Jr., Amber Rose, Kanye, Waka, Lil Wayne). Where's the Dem strategy of putting plants in Republican spaces?
America will regret its decision to reelect Donald Trump
https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/america-will-regret-its-decision-to-reelect-donald-trump.5763053/
The Trump who will walk into the White House on Jan. 20 is a man steeped in unsettled vendettas, who came within a hair’s breadth of a string of federal felony convictions that he is now empowered to wipe away with a self-pardon — as if those offenses and so many others had never even happened. Trump will see his priorities as he has always seen them: party over country and self over all.
A man with 34 felony convictions can’t win the presidency in a nation where trust in institutions is high. It’s only in a culture where the justice system has long since lost its legitimacy that a man with such a thick criminal record as Trump glides by relatively unremarked. That one man can so effortlessly game American institutions to his own benefit says as much about the decrepit state of America’s institutions as it does about the moral decrepitude of the crook.
The nine years of the Trump era have taken a bat to our democracy, and Trump’s MAGA movement has exploited the nation’s systemic weakness at every turn. Political misinformation flooded social media networks owned by Trump’s key allies, or by Trump personally. Meanwhile, Trump and compliant Republican lawmakers torched public trust in the courts — first by appointing an ethically vacant Supreme Court, and later by urging his followers to hate and distrust not only the judges who tried him but the entire “rigged” justice system.
Trump is now set to return to the White House, and he’s made no secret of his lofty goals for a second term: gutting the civil service, destroying the independence of the Justice Department and seeking political and legal revenge on his lengthy list of personal enemies. Judging by yesterday’s election returns, a majority of Americans are eager to see Trump do exactly that.
Elon Musk Becomes Nearly $20 Billion Richer With Trump Victory

It turns out that Bruce Willis was already struggling from the effects of frontotemporal dementia:
https://www.nickiswift.com/1701928/bruce-willis-last-role-before-dementia-diagnosis-tragic-now/
Despite Bruce Willis' final films leaning toward the low-budget, low-stakes side of things, pulling off those roles was far from easy for the action icon. Colleagues revealed to The Los Angeles Times that Willis struggled on set, often forgetting lines to the point that he had to wear an earpiece, or "earwig," to have his lines fed to him. Production crews even trimmed scripts to help him wrap scenes faster. And action scenes? Mostly handled by stunt doubles, as Willis could no longer shoulder the physical demands. Director Mike Burns of "Out of Death" shared, "After the first day of working with Bruce, I could see [Willis' worsening condition] firsthand and I realized that there was a bigger issue at stake here and why I had been asked to shorten his lines." In fact, there were moments when Willis seemed unsure why he was even on set, reportedly asking the crew, "I know why you're here, and I know why you're here, but why am I here?"
Fans noticed the shift, too. In his review of "Assassin," Richard Roeper of the Chicago Sun-Times noted that although Willis delivered his lines accurately, he was lacking his "trademark twinkle," appearing "disengaged" and without the physical energy one would expect in an action film. Sadly, the spark that once defined his performances was notably absent.
Willis officially retired from acting after his family announced his aphasia diagnosis in 2022. These days, he and his family are taking it one step at a time. "He's doing stable, which in this situation is good, and is hard," Tallulah Willis told Today in September 2024. "There's painful days, but there's so much love."
Christina Applegate Has Sparked Outrage With Her Followers With Her Reaction to the 2024 Presidential Election
https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/christina-applegate-sparked-outrage-her-155539974.html
As the US and the rest of the world begin to reckon with Donald Trump‘s reelection into the White House as the 47th President of the United States, Christina Applegate is making her outrage against the results crystal clear.
On X, the Dead to Me star isn’t shying away from showing how disappointed she is over Kamala Harris‘ defeat.
“Please unfollow me if you voted against female rights. Against disability rights. Yeah, that,” the actress, who had been open about her battle with MS since 2021, wrote. “Unfollow me because what you did is unreal. Don’t want followers like this. So yeah. Done.”
In fact, in addition to not wanting any Trump voters to support her, Applegate seems ready to abandon social media altogether. “Also after today, I will be shutting down this fan account that I have had for so many years because this is sick,” she continued.
Prior to the election results being finalized, Applegate, who’s a mom to 13-year-old daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble, already showed her frustration.
“Why? Give me your reasons why?????” she wrote on X. “My child is sobbing because her rights as a woman may be taken away. Why? And if you disagree, please unfollow me.”
In her replies, many of her followers are fighting back against her stance.
“Done,” one user wrote, hinting that they’ve already unfollowed the actress. “I have a severely disabled kid, I’m a woman, and you’re woefully misinformed. Good luck.” Applegate then went on to respond. “Bye. And sorry. See ya on the other side,” she wrote. “I’m sure I will have a better seat.”
And if Trump wins the POPULAR vote by a few million votes... it means so many things:
1. America has become MORE racist, bigoted and sexist
2. America has become MORE anti-equal rights
3. America is fine with state-to-state abortion rights, as opposed to federal abortion rights
4. America doesn't give a shit about Palestinians and is fine with Israel taking over Gaza and wiping everyone out
5. America doesn't care if Russia takes over Ukraine
6. America doesn't care if NATO folds
7. America doesn't care if Trump broke EVERY law, including sexual assault, financial fraud, defamation, etc...
8. America doesn't care about clean energy, or any sort of climate regulation
9. America doesn't care if Trump personally insults them, their race, their culture, their heritage, their ancestry
10. America doesn't care if Trump is cognitively unfit to even function as a president.
11. America doesn't care about affordable universal healthcare, social services or safety nets
12. America hates immigrants
13. America doesn't care about national security beyond the southern border
14. American doesn't care if the President is totally immune to all crimes, including insurrection against his own government
15. America is fine with police brutality and excessive force
^This isn't just about a lack of Dem turnout. The angriest, more ignorant people in the country rose up and destroyed any chance of a liberal or progressive country.
Why Kamala Harris' SNL appearance has broken the brains of Donald Trump supporters
https://newrepublic.com/post/187868/kamala-harris-snl-appearance-donald-trump-allies
Donald Trump allies are accusing Kamala Harris of breaking the law for the dumbest reason.
