Not Trump's support of them. Trump's inciting them. Big difference.
You won't know if your "lower taxes" are that way because too little is being withheld from your check until you actually do them next year. 30% will end up having to pay taxes because of it. I wonder if that was deliberate to make people think they have lower taxes when they don't.
All judges are "Constitution supporting". That's what their decisions are supposed to be based on. You mean right-wing judges.
Those regulations were protecting the public from large corporations. For instance, one regulation required a financial advisor that you hire to give you financial advice which would benefit you. Now they can give advice which benefits them and hurts you. Remember the banks and liar loans which caused the mortgage crisis?
Another regulation lowers the amount that drivers pay for gas. Now oil companies will make more money.
Other regulations lower pollution which cause cancer and asthma. Now illnesses will increase.
The Koch brothers' goals and policies are pure Republican in nature and they are Libertarians aka Republicans. If you look at the policies they support, they're Republican: anti-union; anti national health insurance; anti environment, pro big business; anti public transportation; anti social security medicare etc.
Trump doesn't need their money nor support, but the RNC does. Trump is against immigration and free trade which is what the Koch brothers support which is why they want to support a candidate who has a backbone.
Let's face, it, the Republican politicians haven't shown any backbone under Trump. If someone insulted your spouse and parent, would you be praising him publicly like Ted Cruz does?
BTW, Hillary Clinton isn't running for public office so I don't know why you would mention her. Very odd thing to do.
He was the first to audition, but they auditioned others. They decided to go with him.
"Because those are the ones he's directing or has directed? "
Good point. JJ has been very supportive of Johnson so it makes sense.
Lucas sold his franchise to Disney. Luca has no rights to financial compensation although he may always be credited as a writer since he created the SW universe (jedi, stormtroopers, etc.)
They'll probably continue the Skywalker legacy in future films. Rey and Kylo kid(s) fighting the evil Empire in perpetuity. I doubt if Disney will show one ounce of creativity to move beyond anything Lucas had done.
I make fun of Disney SW and will no longer pay to see them. Only Lucas SW exist for me. Heirs of the Empire book was an enjoyable ep. 7.
There's plenty that won't be explained. Bad story-telling.
And why would Rey want to make Kylo good? Why would she care?
It's not going to be over with. This movie is going to have no real ending since they want people to return for future sequels. Ep 9 will be a springboard for them.
Why did Luke leave a map to the island to be found in ep. 7 if he didn't want to be found in ep. 8?
What caused R2D2 to suddenly wake up in ep. 7?
JJ wrote the first movie with two other writers. He had no writing credits for ep. 7 nor Trevorrow's ep 9. JJ also has a history of not having a completed story in mind like he admitted with "Lost".
Sometimes an ex. prod. or prod. title is an excuse for someone to get a paycheck or larger paycheck like with Stan Lee and a few actors w/double credits.
I notice that Kiri Hart is a "producer" even though she's supposed to be head of the story group. Her job is continuity. Meanwhile Last Jedi had no continuity.
BTW, it doesn't bode well if JJ had an active role with Last Jedi since the movie was crap.
Johnson was specific in an Vanity Fair interview as to who helped him with Last Jedi and it wasn't JJ at all.
"Asked by IndieWire about pushback from “Star Wars” fans who decried Rian Johnson’s film for its focus on more female-centric stories (bolstered by the edition of franchise newbies like Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran), Abrams was clear: “Their problem isn’t ‘Star Wars,’ their problem is being threatened.”"
"being threatened" aka: anti-female. They were talking about a specific group though - not in general.
I don't think it's a black or white issue. There are racist & sexist fans AND Last Jedi was crap.
Not true. Anyway, as time goes by, the tech will continue to become more precise therefore more lethal.
Irrelevant.
Unless the movie starts off with Luke meeting Rey for the first time on that island, it's nothing more than the beginning of a 1 1/2 year marketing campaign.
JJ will spend the next 1 1/2 years hyping this turd to get the old fans that they've been insulting for months to see it.
I don't believe JJ wrote anything since he had no intention of the doing the last two movies and Johnson already said Abrams wouldn't give him any guidance nor information when he asked him re: the storyline.
Don't believe their many lies.
BTW, this article contradicts your comment:

And this is a reminder of JJ insulting the fans.
https://www.indiewire.com/2018/02/jj-abrams-star-wars-last-jedi-women-1201929593/
Don't forget that the fans did see Rogue One and Force Awakens which both starred women.
Trump was not a lifelong Democrat. He's switched political parties several times and has also been an Independent.

Every country on Earth has sensible gun control laws except the U.S. so I doubt it's a "left wing issue". More guns = more gun violence. It's not a coincidence that states with little or no sensible gun laws have higher gun violence.
Trump has surrounded himself with right wing extremist and has supported their policies like putting children in cages.
Both parties have not shifted left. Almost all votes are done along party lines. Each party has different agenda and goals.
it's not about making a cheap gun. It's about being able to get it pass a metal detector which anyone with common sense wouldn't want.
Trumputin supporters know that he lies but choose to believe him anyway. That's a special kind of dumb.
I continue to hope that people like him are trolling instead of being so ignorant.
Deflection. What does any of that have to do with a rich person giving himself and his rich friends yet another tax cut?
BTW, 30 million more Americans (21%) will find out that they will owe the IRS money when they do their taxes because the tax withholding amount was too low for them.
Unfortunately, his dumb minions will parrot whatever nonsense he says. They believe that a repeated lie becomes the truth.
Hopefully, Independents have a clue and will vote in November to weaken him. Most Republican politicians have no backbone therefore they need to go.
The problem is the stupidity of Trumputin and his minions are pulling the rest of us down with them, harming people and threatens American values like freedom of religion (Muslim ban), freedom of the press and democracy (condoning Russia's spying and attacks).
