This.
This movie was all about the ego.
It was an alright movie. A bit depressing. It's one of those to watch when you have patience and not a lot to, so you can keep up with the slow moving non-linear plot.
It's nice to know there is another fan of this movie. :)
I concur! I remember the video being a big deal and the adults having a watch party.
Moonrise Kingdom
I would like to travel via the Trans-Siberian Railway, see the Northern Lights in a glass igloo, and go on an ayahuasca retreat with real shamans.
My guess is the people transporting it made sure the lid was on there real good before leaving the gas station.
I think the ghost child was getting revenge for the woman's pain that they caused her. She looked a lot like his mother and she was emotionally distressed, so he was drawn to her.
****spoilers****
An abused and bullied boy from the 50s ran away to an abandoned town and was never found. A doctor's son hid in the septic tank of three people that were renovating an abandoned house and died. Apparently, the doctor's son's lost spirit awoke the boy's spirit from the 50s and he started haunting people; especially the bullies from the past.
The movie wasn't linear. When you were watching scenes with the three people renovating it was three years in the past, wherein the doctor's son first went missing.
There's lots of other little details (the affair after a stillbirth, the woman looked a lot like the 50s boy's mom), but that's the gist.
007 Stage turned into Sequoia fantasy land.
Haha, elderberry is good for the immune system.

Been on a Nina Simone kick. I admit that I started liking her because of the Bridget Fonda movie Point of No Return.
The forest in the movie Legend (1985).
Because...unicorns.
:)
I am watching it with my niece and nephew now. I think it's cute too. I don't understand the hate.
Thank you. :)
There was a perverse beauty in the cunning way you silently seeped into my being. You greedily gnawed away at my soul like a dirty nocturnal scavenger.
The repugnant stench of infection invaded my breathing. I cannot find a strong enough antiseptic to thwart this mental malady.
How sophomoric of me to benevolently believe I was able to elude this gangrene. My wits have effortlessly evaded me to the contrived constraints of...jealousy.
Oh wow, that is terrifying. I am so glad your mom was okay!
This popped up on my playlist while I was working out. It got me moving for sure.

You're welcome. :) I like to tell people about that house because I didn't think I would ever experience unexplainable things. I wasn't the only one either. My friend stayed with me for awhile and another couldn't even go in. He said it gave him the creeps.
I haven't a clue what those guys were doing there. I like your theory though.
I lived in a tiny studio that was in an old house converted to apartments. Lots of strange things happened there.
One night there was a knock at my door. I was startled because the entry ways were to be kept locked and I wasn't expecting anyone. It was two guys and they asked for a guy named John. Of course, I had no knowledge of this John. They apologized and left. They were pretty stoic and emotionless. I had a strange feeling.
Later, I was told that a John lived there before and had committed suicide.
Apparently, this house was notorious for people committing suicide. One guy had done so while I was still living there.
I did not live there long. Too many spooky things. And, I still wonder where the hell those guys that knocked on my door came from.
