would have been cool to see David and Charlie go out for a night of chilling since their daughters both attended the same school.
they bond over pool--which is both in game rooms of mansions and public places
He didn't intentionally get a soul. He wanted something to give Buffy what she 'deserved' with the idea that the entity he went to would power him up to harm her
Angel had not sought out what was given to him. That's far more redeemable in my book.
I didn't like Dawn either. Reminded me of Chachi and Scrappy doo merged together. Am thankful Tractenberg is no longer able to get jobs.
Tara annoyed me less but she always looked like she was about to cry/had been crying. Not really appealing.
Joss wasn't supervising the show anymore--and the new team/new writers did not care re quality etc. It's really noticeable when you watch the earlier seasons and then get into the later.
a reboot means the plot gets changed. Which they would have to do here.
paternity testing has improved greatly since the late 1980's. No serious judge would now issue a ruling that a kid is raised with two guys only bc they cannot figure out the identity of her father
They'd have to change the premise of the original series in order to sell to modern audiences.
other thing is that gay parenting is not an issue.
pretty sure it's the Soviet Union which existed back then.
Jim let Brandon get away with so much. Meanwhile, Brenda who is the same age is talked down to constantly.
I didn't find her annoying either. They should have done a show about her life. Would have been far more interesting.
somebody did walk in the very first season and Giles forgot it was a school library and asked who are you and what are you doing here?
Plus the size of it. Okay public school libraries are not for the general public. And this is a suburb, not a big city. But still, it is tiny. Most people who did need books etc for research probably went to off campus libraries.
it went downhill later seasons with the addition of Dawn and Spike suddenly becoming a love interest for Buffy. Whatever Joss's personal problems/issues, it's obvious that when he wasn't closely supervising production, it suffered. They needed to have cancelled it when he left.
She also did Higher Learning. Some of the stuff in that movie (like the professors having no computer of any kind in their office? No disability support services/orgs after the ADA was passed??) is weird in 1995 (when that movie came out.
It was apparently before she became a far right conspiracy theory pusher. She played the aspiring bisexual feminist who helps organize a multicultural peace festival.
No idea what made her snap after that. But if she's pushing conspiracy theories, it could explain why she does not get roles. Same thing happened to Kirk Cameron.
yeah Judy Blume revised the book. I read a version mentioning 'belts' and I had to ask my mom what they were talking about.
I specified main cast.
that and this lead was smarter than Hasselhoff.
it also needed to be on broadcast. Putting it on a subscription only channel probably did not help.
It's not really santa's origins. It's a version safe to show kids. I don't know how they would make stop animation of the actual story.

This movie was made by the generation who had fought World War II. I have German ancestry myself and I'm not offended. It reflects the generation who was in power in 1970, in charge of studios. Santa Claus is also German in this movie and so is his wife Jessica, but they are good people.
late 80's early 90's tv was kinda a mess like this.
was curious re the Disney episode. The family is the only one dressed like the 1960s. I know they wanted to do it up big, but this wasn't the way.
