Unknown Actress Anabella Casanova as Mera

A lot of people have suggested actresses like Emilia Clark as Amber Heard's replacement. I wouldn't mind Emilia. But I do think that an unknown actress would be better. If an unknown is used, then it would be easier for people would be able to see the character, instead of the actress. I also think it would be less jarring to go from Heard to someone not as famous.

Anabella Casanova would be perfect. She's a decent actress, pretty, and a natural redhead. Here are her pics:

So? Amber Heard and Emilia Clarke will be 38. This actress is only 2 years older than them.

But who says we want those 2 either.I would cast Zatanna in the movie instead of Mera.Like the first movie most of it will be out of water.Plus Jason most likely knows her as she was the bass player in his daughter Zoes band in the past.

I like Emilia but she's a terrible actress. Her and Amber are basically interchangeable. I do like the idea of an unknown actress though. It's an Aquaman movie. We're here for Mamoa and spectacle. Excellent opportunity to launch a talented unknown and get some fresh blood in the big leagues.

Started watching The Haunting Of Bly Manor. If they really want to find a good replacement, they should get Victoria Pedretti. With the blonde hair, Victoria Pedretti sort of looks like Amber Heard from certain camera angles and facial expressions or hairstyles. Not saying they look like twins though, but there is some facial similarities between Amber Heard and Victoria Pedretti. I wouldn't mind seeing Victoria Pedretti take over the role of Mera if they really had to recast Mera. But I'm fine with Amber Heard return. I try to keep actors or actresses' real life issues out of things when watching something. I'm not happy with what Amber Heard is accused of doing, but Aquaman is still watchable/re-watchable, and seeing her in the movie doesn't make me want to turn off the movie or anything. Actually, I'm not too attached to Amber Heard anyway. Only movie of hers I actually watched or can recall watching is Aquaman. Maybe if I watched a few more movies before hearing stuff about it, I would've been disgusted and never watch anything with her in it again, or at least re-watch stuff I've seen her in. I'll still watch her as Mera, but maybe everything else in the future I'll skip. Unless it's something I REALLY want to watch, or if she just has a small role and isn't the main female lead.

I don't mind Amber Heard reprising the role...BUT she is nearly identical to Teresa Palmer so if they switched the two, no one will ever know.

People hate Amber because Johnny had a better PR team, nothing more. I have no doubt that they are both horrible people. However, Amber is still hot, and I'd much rather fuck her than Johnny, so I guess she wins? Regardless, her character barely had any screentime in the first one, and I'd expect about the same in this.
