He's too hard on himself. SM3 is massively uneven but I'd still rank it a little better than either the Holland movies.

I can't believe I'm saying this but yeah, SM3 was a fucking mess, but still better than Homecoming.

Right? It's certainly goofy and campy but it still has that Raimi charm and it still feels epic when it calls for it. Studio notes surrounding Venom being in the movie notwithstanding.
