Finally caught up. Was preparing for my end of term exams for the past few weeks. Finally done today.

Anyways, Take away the weekly anticipation & fan theories and this is just an OK show. Some solid episodes but as a whole, way overhyped. At least for me personally.

Am I wrong in saying that? Like genuinely asking, if this was released all at once to be binged, would it *really* cause this much hype?

Hope Loki lives up to the hype. That's personally my most anticipated show.

The final made up for all the bad episodes ... at least for me ...

With the exception of the Agatha v Wanda fight, which I found to be underwhelming, pretty solid finale all around

I mean they're 2 super powerful beings & all we got was 2 people throwing "energy/magic beams" at each other. With their power set, was expecting something just a lil bit more epic or at least more memorable than that. Oh well...

I liked the Vision v Vision stuff though.

And Wanda's new outfit looks dope. Can't wait for Multiverse of Madness

Yeah, it's been a frustration since the 70s. Every time there's some kind of wizard duel, they just stand there shooting colored energy blasts back and forth. I can't believe that's still all we get with all these special effects possible today.

Sword in the stone had a nice magic duel, but it was in 60’s.

The Doctor Strange v Thanos fight in Infinity War lasted like 40 seconds but it's one of the best & most memorable battles in all the Superhero movies

They did some awesome, unique stuff with Strange's magical abilities

True... usually these fights are lame because you dont really know who`s magical beam or energy projection is more powerful. Strange vs thanos was very creative.

Also, I don't know if you're a Harry Potter fan but the final battle between Dumbledore vs Voldemort at the end of "The Order of the Phoenix" was rather amazing. I watch it on YouTube from time to time

I just love any show or film that fully does the magic spectacle in action. I fanboy so hard at that kind of stuff. Instead of the usual wand vs wand or energy beam pew pew pew sh*t

That sh*t is uninspiring & disappointing. Especially for a freaking magic fight

Yeah, so many spells, even just getting some inspirations from DD would work great ...

Enchantment, Necromancy, Conjuring, Abjuration (although they had the runes), illusions, transmutation etc.

They stick to the plain, old evocation only spells ...

The show had been unique in it's own right but that fight was honestly super generic. Two people just floating, going pew pew pew. lol
