Woke shit! 5.4 is too high.
shareHaven't watched yet but the reviews are pretty bad.I suspect most of the good reviews are either planted or from woke people who think anything that glorifies gender race or sexuality is golden regardless of quality.
shareIt's really not that woke. It's fairly manly with lots of tough guys getting in each other's faces. They just gave the lead a lesbian sidekick, but she's actually a pretty cool character and so far she hasn't thrown any 300 pound men around by their testicles yet.
shareI like this show. But I liked Dennis Quaid's Vegas too. I'm sure it will last just as long.
sharePersonally, I'm trying to like it but just can't. The woke stuff bugged the hell out of me, but I can get past it if the show is good. I just can't get into these characters, and frankly the lesbian sidekick is not believable to me. Her sexuality has nothing to do with it, but a 90 lb. (soaking wet) girl without a certain look in her eye is never going to be believable in a tough role. She was miscast because they wanted a woke angle, and it just doesn't work for me.
Even then, I could get past it but I just don't care for any of the characters. They haven't been developed well at all and the show suffers for that.
