Why does she have to be attractive? She’s a superhero, not a supermodel.

Superheroes were created as 'ideals'. The guys are square-jawed handsome and built, the girls are super pretty with great figures. It's as much a part of them as flight, superstrength, and god-tier martial arts.

Because she’s hot in the comics and I’m tired of studios ignoring the source materials and warping the characters to suit some “modern audience” of fat, ugly women offended at the site of hot, fit women.

Milly Alcock is an 'unconventionally cute' girl who I'm sure can look very hot in the right make-up/get-up/lighting (IMO). I think she'll look the part.

Haven't you heard all the loud yelling from mid women demanding a realistic hero for them??? I'm sure they will come out in the millions in force to support this movie and make it a huge hit.

That's the thing, isn't it. It's like the people who make the most noise about female superhero costumes in the comics and how they show 'too much' skin. So the costume gets a re-do. And how many of those who were bleating then buy the comics? Most of them have probably never read a Supergirl or Power Girl comic in their lives, but they get listened too. As for those of us who actually fork out money for these things regularly and love the characters the way they are? Apparently, we don't matter.
