Is this any good?

Worth watching?

If the premise of Greek Gods and myths transposed to the present day is of interest to you, then yes, it is worth watching.

reply

It sounds like an odd concept on paper.

Zeus is married to his sister. The naked blue guy singing during the Summer Olympics is his son, Dionysius.

Let the dysfunction begin!

Sounds like American Gods

American gods was better. So was the Almighty Johnsons. If it wasn't for Jeff Goldblum i probably would have ditched this show by now but i'll finish it.

The premise of Greek Gods and myths transposed to the present written for the mythical woke “modern audience” with a majority of the characters being gay and/or trans, and diverse actors throughout.

reply

No.

reply

Yep. Far from perfect but it is good.

The scenes with Zeus and Prometheus are entertaining, and the last two episodes finally kick into gear, but the first six are a waste of time freak show.

It also ends with no closure. I assume they set it up for a possible second season that may never come which pissed me off.

Should have wrapped up the story.

The series really is very uneven. What really bothers me as well is, that Jeff Goldblum is basically just throwing around Goldblum tropes as Zeus.

I've only watched a couple of episodes and it feels like a series with potential, but it just doesn't seem to find the right gear.
