Great Ninja movie
I was surprised by how great it was.
I missed such kind of movies. There should be more good Ninja movies
Agree. I have no idea if it was a good Snake Eyes movie. But this was a great throw back ninja flick. I enjoyed the hell out of it.

I didn't go into it with any knowledge of the characters' backstory from the comics or cartoon and so I wasn't worried about fidelity to the source material.
Personally, I thought the action was pretty standard and uninspired, but I found the story more interesting than I expected it to be. Snake Eyes' turn as a double-agent early on surprised me and pulled me into the story, and I thought the depiction of the ninja clan and how it was structured and how it worked was also cool. Then you have the characters and I thought there were multiple interesting characters who were well-cast.
BTW, if you never saw it and want to see a another semi-recent ninja movie then check out out Ninja Assassin from about a decade ago. Also, if you get into direct-to-video action movies at all, then Ninja with Scott Adkins might be worth a look either, but don't expect it to live up to Snake Eyes or Ninja Assassin.
