Seriously? I thought this was a show about Chucky, but halfway through the pilot it keeps on having to remind you that the kid is gay. Wtf.

Box Checking. Most "entertainment," such as it is, is now about just checking boxes. If you don't have the right genders, shades of brown or sexual preferences in key positions, you will get hashtagged on social media.

I haven't seen the show.

However the last few movies had 'gay shit'. Bride of Chucky has that blonde Gay guy who is best friends with the two leads (it also contains S&M themes), Seed of Chucky has the whole Glen/Glenda thing, basically a genderfluid/trans doll.

Curse had the lesbian subplot between the Nanny and the young girls Mother, then Cult also had a makeout scene between Fiona & Jennifer near the end.

The franchise has been quite LGBT since 1998.
