some parts good, some not so good

I think acting was pretty decent, for what it was.
The mma fight scenes.... were poorly shot and choreographed, which is unfortunate, given that HB has been practicing mma for a few years and this film featured a female ufc champ.
The film features a lesbian relationship and all the woke stuff that goes along with it (there's not one decent dude in this film, as is the norm in films these days).
There's a fair amount of character development and the dialogue isn't the worst. The mother/son relationship was dragging the whole thing down, since they spent so much time on it, but with kid never saying a word, the relationship development wasn't there until the very end.
The soundtrack was all right.

If the MMA fight was well filmed, i'd give this 6 out of 10, but since it wasn't, I'll have to give it 5/10, only because the acting wasn't too bad.

Thanks for the warning. I can’t endure the woke stuff anymore so I’ll pass on this one

If right wingers whine about "woke" (aka minorities) it must be good.

I'm far right and I don't mind this movie featuring Blacks women as well as lesbians. Why? Because it's realistic. Black women and lesbians are probably overrepresented in MMA. What bothers me is wokeness where its not realistic, like a Black female secretary kicking ass of men three times her size in a James Bond movie.

lol.... so she has a son, which means she was with dudes, but then she just randomly becomes a lesbian because...?

Man, woke movies are really wack.

Agreed about the terrible choreography and filming during the fights. Those could/should have been much better. Then acting was fine but that ugly butch trainer did annoy me a lot.

5/10
