Excellent story! As long as you let some things go.

I have no idea what 600yrs of blindness would evolve to, but some things on here are just hard to believe.

--People putting on war paint. Not sure what for when no one can see it.
--A fight scene where everyone knows who's on what side.
--There's a lot of characters whose dress-attire looks too well-coordinated.
--It would be nice to know what drove people out of the cities, and into the cold mountains.
--For there to be only 2 mil people in the world, there sure is a large concentration in this show.

I really liked the story and the characters. Hopefully Season 2 will clear up a lot of questions. After all, the did run right into a a large city, and there may be answers there.

P.S. Jerlamarel got exactly what he deserved.

For the scent I'm guessing.

Fratricide happens even with regular/sighted fights. They tend to not show these on the screen is all
I'm assuming they drill for combat to work as a team, and know who's where based on formation

Probably used the materials on hand. Otherwise, save on wardrobe/costuming costs :p

I'm only at season 1, but I'm guessing that queen who keeps hunting down others.

Again, I'm only going through season 1, but I'm assuming that they tend to cluster as a communities to support each other. After all, we have this now... some places are barren, while others have very high population densities, and everything in between. They're not going to be spread out very evenly.

Yeah, try not to think about it TOO much. Hell, with how many movies and TV shows are nowadays, that's practically a requirement. I've outlined some of the other tropes they use to just "handwave" a lot of these things...
