I have some advice: turn Amazon Prime off and crack open the Simarillion. The real story is 100x better than that garbage.

I've only glanced it. I read the Hobbit and the LOTR trilogy but I never felt the urge to wade through hundreds of addendum lore pages. I may yet reconsider someday.

Anyway, the show is not all bad, I have no problems with multiple interpretations.
