The terrible dialogue, and writing have nothing to do with it. Messing with the lore when the fans warned them that you can't go against Tolkiens word.

Yup!! I just checked. They deleted all reviews rated 5 stars and under. Every review on there now is rated 6 stars and up. Truth hurts. They should just shut down the review option if that is what they're going to do.

That explains the differences in what we're seeing. I guess you're looking at the amount of reviews for one specific episode, and I'm looking at the reviews for the show in and of itself.

Of 40 latest reviews, all but one (a 6) were 8-10. I checked a block of 5 reviews, 3 of them were one-shot reviews.

The Witcher is just as disrespectful of the original and has ten times more diversity. Yet it's one of the most popular shows today.
Which means there is very little appeal in RoP. Not even people with no taste like it.

Ironically the Witcher is not much better. But it IS better. And having Cavil saying Hmmmm! once is more entertaining than all RoP season(s) - a premonition.
