I've genuinely never even heard of until a few moths ago. A friend recommended it to me. It's so fantastic. Massively under-appreciated

shareCouldn't agree more. I'm hearing this is the last season which is absolutely criminal. I can't explain the genius of this show, but you have to see it and you are hooked. The lead character RAY is so complex...he delves into your heart, mind and conscience.
shareI was genuinely surprised that Scott Ryan who plays Ray only has TWO entries in his IMDB page. This & a 2005 mockumentary film that he wrote & directed. A film that the show is based on.
He also created the show. I wonder, How has this dude not being in more stuff? He's absolutely fantastic. And Ray is one of my absolute favorite TV characters. So amazing!
Don't know what you mean, because its IMDb rating is in the overrated zone. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the first two seasons (yet to watch the third) and I'm surprised that Scott Ryan is not yet utilized by Hollywood. However, the scenes are somewhat repetitive, the character arcs are almost non-existent and the required suspension of disbelief is somewhat uncomfortable, considering the realistic backdrop.
Recommended, but my rating is more like 7.5-8.0.
