What an absolute pile of self indulgent trash

This movie sucked. But then I knew it would. Any film starring Brad Pitt and Leo DiCaprio would always suck.

Self indulgent, bad characters, embarrassingly bad acting. Inferior script. Not funny. Not entertaining. Boring to the hilt.

Brad and Leo are a total disaster in this film. I've never seen a single movie that was good with either one. Leo couldn't act to save his life. Never could act. He was always the pretty boy. But I'm sorry, pretty olds boys and no talent doesn't cut it.

All through the movie you can see they were acting. Okay so it's a send up. Still, they're still useless.

When I think back to the glory days of Hollywood, when you couldn't see actors were acting. It looked real. Then I see this trash. I realised Hollywood may be truly dead.

Yep.

I was wondering if I was the only one that didn't like this movie. Someone had posted a comment that said it was similar to 'Seinfeld,' in that scenes went on and nothing happens. You keep waiting for something to happen but it never does, except at the end.

reply

And when it gets to the end, he completely changes history. It was a leadup to something we thought was going to happen, and then he went the other way.

reply

Which was great. Wilful, self-indulgent and great. I loved the ending of the film.

reply

I totally disagree. This was excellent. Both DiCaprio and Pitt were great. The film was very entertaining and really well written. It was nominated for 10 Oscars, won 3 Golden Globes, and 4 Critics Choice Awards, so most people would disagree with your review.

reply

Oscars arenโ€™t even relevant anymore. Once Black Panther was nominated for best picture LoL

reply

You could have just said you didnt like it.

reply

There are a lot of things going on that are all tied together. If you give it a second viewing you might get it.

reply

I totally agree, but most others don't because they are sheeple. See my review above.

Whatever movie you watch, masterpieces included, if you are not tuned in to what the movie is about will always have the problems you mentioned.

This movie, when you watch it understanding what it's about and, like you said, sends up, you will appreciate for its many positive traits. Including the acting which was quite allright for what it was supposed to be.

Old movies with "seamless" acting might have been more realistic and often they were meant to go for that realism. To me they look a bit stiff but I understand what you mean. Again, you were probably tuned in to that kind of movies and were not to this one, but understand that for people that are on this wavelenght, this movie is allright.
