So are the normal people in the trailer the clones and the crazies the original family who got cloned?

yeah but its a bit complicated but at the end they explain it where the happy family are the clones without souls where the originals are able to control the soulless by mind or whatever. and yes the mother which is the clone her and the original they switched places when they were kids in the past. The switch happened during some carnival festival thing or whatever

A bit far out there.

Get Out makes more sense than Us though.
