I didn't really like how they went about mentioning Mark died

Jackie just casually mentions to Becky "I know since your husband died its been hard" i'd like to think Mark formed enough of a bond with the family that he would be more to them than Becky's "husband" as Jackie put it. I would have liked for them to actually say his name instead of just referring to him as her husband.

I hope when David shows up we get more detail about Mark's death and somewhat of a better tribute for him. I just don't want the only time he's mentioned to be Jackie calling him Becky's husband.

It was awkwardly worded, but I think that was intended for newer audiences who haven’t seen the original series. I also hope they give a further explanation about Mark’s death.

Yeah ideally i would love a scene of David sitting down with Mark in his room and talking about why he named him after his brother and everything. I just want Mark to get 1 emotional scene where he's talked about and it needs to be either with David or Becky.

I disagree. It's been 20 years. They couldn't possibly cover everything that happened in that time span to everyone's (the audience's) satisfaction.

Secondly, there were just too many characters and too much going on in that first episode.

It was nice that they referenced Mark at all.

Just my opinion.....

Lol i'm not saying they should have went into a long detailed explanation about who he was and what happened, i just wanted them to use his name, just have Jackie say "I know since Mark died its been hard, losing a husband is never easy".

I just watched an interview with Alicia Goranson where she says they shot an episode that revolves around Mark’s death, so that’s comforting.

Thats awesome! Can't wait to see it.
