I loved 1. Liked but didn't love 2. And I left 3 feeling let down.
But I seem to be in the minority. You'll probably love it.
I liked it, mostly because the 2nd was just a hard watch for me. Rocket's backstory was cool. I didn't really like the half animal, half humans, a little uncomfortable to watch.

I always thought 1 was good, but overrated. 2 felt epic and had better humor than the first. Ego was the best villain in the franchise, I thought. 3 had a mostly boring story, confusing action sequences, and a mediocre soundtrack. The flashback scenes with Rocket were good.

Part 2 is still a good GOTG, and Kurt Russell was great. But lacked a bit of the charm of the first film.
1 and 3 for me are top tier Marvel films. 3 is probably the darkest Marvel film in places. And the Villain is one of the better scummy villains in Marvel history.
I loved the first one, disliked the second.
It did not work for me. I have almost given up on the Marvel movies in general.
Probably not, because I like first one too, I think it's the best Marvel movie with Captain America 1 and Iron Man 1.
But second one is boring, I just finished third one, it's boring too.
