This dialogue is straight up juvenile.
Harley Quinn- "I love when it rains, it's like the angels are spooging". Or whatever the hell she says.

shareso it's juvenile. so what? what's so great about being mature? being mature mostly equates to being old and dreary and boring. immaturity is unjustly maligned, sometimes. do i wanna see jokes about pension contributions and tax credits? not especially.
the jokes were hit and miss, but generally speaking i like gunn's trashy sensibilities, and i found lots of things to enjoy here. the shark guy being the primary giver of moments of joy or whatever.
Being childish is not a virtue.

The dialogue is bland and the humor in it doesn't quite work but it still is a fun ride. James Gunn again shows that he is a good pupil of Lloyd Kaufman, but this time he does not score an A.
