HE NAILED IT.
shareYet he agrees with a lot of what he said. It's just that Marvel was the target, and Gunn is part of that. And I have no doubt that Scorsese was drawing attention to his film using Marvel, but he was admitting that he was in the shadow of those movies, when they dominate the number of screens in a theater, that's kinda the point. They've used up the cinematic bandwith, with not much left for different kinds of movies.
But don't think Gunn wasn't using the controversy, as well, to promote his movie, right now.
Exactly. If Scorsese is so irrelevant then why does Gunn need to dig up old news from two years ago just to promote his own movie?
shareGunn is a disgusting pedo-dude, and Marty should just retire.
shareJust because he has a sick and twisted sense of humor (he wrote movies for Troma for fuck’s sake) doesn’t mean he’s a pedo. Also I doubt a real pedo would make pedo comments/jokes for all to see, they would be too afraid of being investigated.
shareThere’s no “humor” in that, it’s just sick and twisted. He also attends pedo-themed parties and is good friends with a convicted sex offender and pedo. HollyWEIRD is full of these type of freaks.
shareWhat a horrible quote by James Gunn. Really dumb.
shareGunn dint dig nothing he was only anwsering a question about the attacks that comic books movies recieve as a less form of cinema
Scorssese is a great filmmaker the dude is almost 80 and is still sharp creating great art and his movies get me more hype than anything Marvel would ever produce but i think people dont understand what he was talking about he dint attack Marvel or super hero movies in general he was talking about the production system big companys are not giving chance to more small movies Super hero and spectacle movies have become the main interest for this companys if you read his essay about it you would know is not against some genre but the direction the industry is taking
