If you wanted an intelligent and open-ended conclusion to this film, it could not have been pre artfully crafted. The final scene with the droid and Woman in her trailer is excellent. We assume that the droid kills Woman but maybe it's the other way around since we don't see anything after the droid turns around to close the door. Rampant speculation, I know. But fun.
Even if it's the other way ... the droid is justa husk, mother can send thousands of said droids to eliminate mother.

Hmmm I dunno if there's much room for speculation there.
Mother killed the woman.
The woman had served her purpose: demonstrating the Daughter that humans, left to their own devices, could not be trusted.
Lesson having been learned, the woman had served her purpose, and Mother paid her a final visit with her termination notice.
The movie was nicely made, but the ending wasn't anything suprising.
