Best Movie I've Seen This Year...
The movie is not for everyone. It isn't for horror fans. This is a beautiful movie that is my favorite so far this year.

shareDId you enjoy iy?
shareWholeheartedly agree. Never imagined a simple ghost costume could convey so much genuine emotion, but they totally pulled it off. The long stretches without any dialogue reminded me of Wall-E, another beautiful, melancholy film.
Food in Films: Obviously, the pie scene. I thought it was pumpkin, but learned it was actually vegan chocolate.
With no pun intended, I was haunted by this film. It’s been months since I first saw it and the imagery and deep sadness of the story still comes back to me from time to time.
I would say it’s something of a masterpiece.
I rated it 5/5 on Letterboxd and to put that in context there’s less than 20 films I’ve given a perfect score to. It’s very special indeed.
