Does the trailer make you want to see this movie?
I'm not sure I'm convinced, it looks like a corny kids movie but who knows maybe it'll actually be quite good

Also. I think Wonka is too tall, but honestly, I will probably see it. It looks fun, and full of whimsy and sometimes those movies are really fun to watch.
shareI have no desire to see this though Hugh Grant’s clip is funny.
Glad social activists didn’t demand producers scour the jungles for an actual orange race of little people to cast.
Though I’m sure some will still bitch about it.
I like the look of the trailer. I'll probably check it out.

Well, it is for kids. I'm not sure what else you'd expect it to be.
Anyway, no, it's not something I'm going to rush out to see. But I might catch it on streaming services if it gets decent reviews. It looks like whimsical fun, and it's got a good supporting cast of British comedy actors who can all do good turns.
What's with all the gravity defying? I get the fizzy lifting drink bit in the original(s) but there seems to be a lot of that going on like this is a more supernatural story than anything. Seems unnecessary.
Production values look good, sets and costumes and all.
Not sure I care about the story, but I'll give it a chance.
No. Charlie is the more endearing character, and I presume he won't appear in this prequel. Wonka doesn't seem too interesting.
