So our ancestors (humans) fled their own planet due to an evil A.I.

They built a moon around a captured star (was that true or speculated?)

The moon is managed by A I.

But somehow the evil A.I still exists and breaks free.

Did I understand this correctly?

I was a little lost.

So the first scene, that storm, was evil AI finding the moon? Or breaking free?

The scene in space where the satellite was wrecked, an Astronaut died and Halle Berry knocked unconscious - I believe that was when the evil AI found the moon.
