Why wasting two torpedoes?!
They could have simply sunk the ghost sheep by sabotaging it. They could also leave it be because it was useless to anybody else. Why did they have to waste two torpedoes on it?!

shareHell, they could have scuttled her before they returned to the uboat. I also noticed that the order was given only for one torpedo, and yet two were fired. The reason they didn't just leave it is pretty prosaic, however: by sinking her, they can claim the tonnage.
shareBecause the show is utter shit and everything-u-boat is just lametta, the "important" part is the focus on lesbian resistance action, didn't you know?
I am a die-hard Das Boot fan, I literally grew up with it and I have seen the original 5-hrs version God knows how many times and while it isn't flawless, it sure is perfect.
The new series however... what the actual fuck.
A total disgrace and as soon as it is about military let alone u-boat tactics or life aboard, the series totally tanks and makes so many mistakes it's almost satire, though involuntarily.
The characters are completely overdrawn and 1-dimensional cliches of "ze evil germans, ja!" especially the joke of a commander who goes nuts and full-radical... forgot his name, the redhead they exchanged in season 1.
Oh and don't get me started on the first officer who ruins every scene he is in.
Not because of the actor, but because of the horribly written character who OOZES cliche out of every pore of his body.
The mutiny bullshit would never have happened, let alone the murder that took place among the crew etc.
The only recent production portraying u-boats worse and even less realistic, is Greyhound.
Perfect means flawless. If something has flaws, it cannot be perfect.
shareIt is a more philosophical expression.
I am basically saying that despite some flaws, the movie still is perfect.
Like a wonderful woman that melts your heart. She might have cellulite or funny ear lobes but she is still perfect.
Get it?
No - if it has flaws of any kind, then it cannot be perfect under any definition. Philosophy, nothing. What you're saying is lexically the same as "while it wasn't perfect, it sure was perfect".
shareIt's okay, some people are just trapped in their mind and would not understand philosophy and free thinking when it hits them in the face. We're all different...
