I agree. Toby is annoying me too with his stupid humor and crazy things. I know that girls like it sexy when guy is funny and does some crazy thing for them, but we men, don't find those actions sexy at all, but stupid, non serious and annoying. However, as a person, Toby is a great guy. He all the time supports Kate, while Kate doesn't do the same. Kate is weird character. She treats people unfair because of her insecurities and issues, take an example her mom. So, yes Toby is annoying, but as a person he's a good guy. I wouldn't want him dead.

I like Toby too, but I hate Kate. Whenever Toby and her are on screen I just want Toby to RUN away from her. Kate is so deep into whining that I can't take her.

Agreed, I actually love Toby. He does feel like a character from a different (better) show, though. And Kate is awful, Toby is constantly supporting her through her drama, but she never supports him back. And Kate treats her Mom like absolute crap, because of her own issues! Toby needs to run away and never look back. I actually stopped watching this show halfway into season 2 because I started to really hate the grown up Pearson kids so much. I didn't mind Randall and Beth as much, but Kevin and Kate's whining was just way too much for me.

Sorry-just seeing this. In one of the most recent episodes, when Kate came back from going away for the weekend with her brothers. Toby wanted to show her the audio studio he had created In the garage. She just cut him off before he had a chance to explain that he had created NOT for her, but for baby Jack. She is a self-absorbed fool who doesn’t deserve him.

I can't stand Kate either, but in her defense, she did correct her mistake and let Toby show her the studio later, and was very appreciative. I don't remember if it was the same episode or the next episode.

Not as annoying as he used to be but still annoying. He tolerates Kate's bullshit way too much but was impressed when he started hitting the gym in secret. He has a lot of pressure on him and tries to be the nice guy but enables Kate way too much. I don't think she should be adopting a kid for a start let alone having her own.
