He looks utterly badass. Francis who? :D
But even before the pics of him preparing for the role began to surface, I thought his casting was very interesting. Apart from him being an all around talented actor easily capable of playing bad guys, knowing he is playing THE big baddie in Marvel's other universe and will also play a showy villainous role in this movie is... all kinds of cool. I’m down with him as Cable!
Well after getting a real preview of Brolin as Cable, I must say that it does appear like they chose the perfect man for the job (just as I expected). His appearance, delivery, and total presence is wildly on point imho. To see his deadly character and performance go up against an ingenious goofball like Deadpool is going to be sensational.

for a while it looked like it would be Steven Lang (Avatar) who was campaigning heavily for the role on twitter. maybe hed have got the role had it been not too long after Avatar..but its like 10 years almost
shareThat would just be weird to me. I don't care how many different parts he plays, I can't think of him as anything other than Ike Clanton in Tombstone

shareI enjoyed his portrayal, however one can't help but think of Thanos when seeing him or hearing him deliver lines. As much as he did a good job with Cable, he IS Thanos!
