Hillary Swank at the end
What was she doing at the bar? Can she just not let the case go?
shareWhats the way I interpreted it.
shareI think the whole movie is about the Logan's trying to shake the idea that their family is cursed and them getting away with a successful robbery is part of that "luck". So in the end they feel they have it but then Swank shows up and I guess that's supposed to make the audience think "oh, wait a minute, maybe they're not so lucky after all." At least that's how I saw it.
I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/-UQ-LDObxx0
I took it to mean she was closing in on them and she already mostlikely had pegged them as suspects.
shareI thought the way her arm was just sat there on the bar kinda looked false like she had a prosthetic arm the same as Clyde and thats how she was going to get close to him.
shareShe was there to indicate that the Logan curse had not been lost, their luck was about to run out.
But I still want my two hours back -- this was a real loser of a film. Too bad, with so much talent.
At least Swank's character made some sort of sense. Katherine Waterston was TOTALLY wasted in this film.
Out of curiosity, what's a good caper movie?
All caper movies are like this. Sometimes winners, sometimes losers. That's a caper movie. I don't normally like caper movies but I enjoyed this one. Oddball and interesting with an open ending.
If you havent already, you should watch the movie Triple Frontier (starring Oscar Isaac, Ben Affleck, and Charlie Hunnam) its a caper movie about military veterans planning and robbing a druglords mansion out in the jungles of south america. The reason I liked this caper film is that it had a different setup. The first third of the film they plan and execute the robbery, then the remaining two thirds of the movie they are trying to escape from the jungle with all the cash. I've watched it more than once and enjoyed it each time. Its a Netflix film!
Let me know what you think of the movie : )
